The MOWE Tournament I, Torino 2006 Winter Olympics will start in less than 24 hours. Its also Valentine's day! For those that haven't gotten that special loved one a gift, why not give them a gold, silver, or bronze medal? Kinda like winning that big stuffed animal at the local fair. Be that hero for
Our own Winter Olympic competition starts in two days. There are still plenty of open slots open for additional competitors. So far, we have four confirmed and only need two more before I order and present gold, silver, and bronze trophy medals to the top three overall performers. The game is available
- Could you please correct the format on a new game / track that I founded? The final format is not the same as when I clicked the submit button. I looks like some soft carriage returns were injected into the about halfway down the ruleset. It looks really looks bad. Thanks.
After playing each of the 15 events on all three difficulty settings (easy, medium, hard), I've gotten a good feel of the game and propose the following track rules (below). For the most part, the difficulty settings determine the AI's ability and doesn't have a material impact on the player's performance.
Hello everyone. Each month, I find a game that isn't already in the game database and ask others for their support to help fund tracks. This month is no different but has one special twist. I'm going to launch at tournament to support participation and competition for this game and its underlying tracks.

For those of us experiencing Winter, the most common complaints are about the cold, snow & ice, shorter days, and the bleakness of it all. You rarely hear anyone complain about the like of bugs. For those of you that miss stomping on those creepy crawlers and swatting at those insect hummingbirds, you

Yes I know, this announcement is made on January 1st and not technically in December. I'm a bit behind schedule but will make up for it this month. The purpose of the 'New Game of the Month' is to build the Twin Galaxies library by adding games and tracks across various platforms. Eventually I'd like

Watch this space and the New Track Proposal forum if you'd like to contribute submission points and become a track founder. Research is pending to develop clear, consistent, and comprehensive track rules.

GAME HAS RESUMED - THANKS TO TG ADMIN
October is synonymous for Autumn, Halloween and the World Series. For this month's new game addition to the Twin Galaxies database, keep your leaf peeping and scary masks to yourselves. October is Baseball!

Have you ever wondered what sort of game you'd get if you combined the Toy Story movie with Trials Fusion and added a dash of Hot Wheels? If your normal, probably not! But if your curious to see what this mash-up looks like, check out the video below.
If you're looking for a good summer read infused with 80s nostalgia, consider dropping your literary quarter into the book "Ready Player One" by Ernest Cline. The story is set in the near future in a resource depleted planet, a strong division between those that have plenty and those that have little.

And with that, I'm hanging up the white cardigan.
In honor of the holiday, today's gaming theme is heroes!
- First up is inaugural submission for the Last Guy, a top-down rescue / survivor game. Stockholm is in need of a hero.
- Next is Marvel Pinball. Let's see if I have what it takes to reclaiming
I was driving back home from work and listening to Marketplace on National Public Radio. On the show, host Kai Ryssdal interviewed a modern day titan of the video game industry, the CEO of Activision Blizzard, Bobby Kotick. Good interview that combines a bit of nostalgia and a present day outlook on
Its time to dig deeper in my wallet and shell out some cash for a new TV. That will give me a third option and enough space to finally set-up my PS4.
Games on tap for the day weekend.
- Just Cause 4
- No Man's Sky
At long last, its time to fire up Gran Turismo 4 for the Playstation 2. I'll start with the licenses and move forward to the fastest race / lap challenges. Each of the B license tests have 2-3 competitors. I look forward to the challenge.
Here's a quick list of things I like with this game:
