Overall very nice. I would like to see either the icons at the bottom disappear for things that I don't have or at least some easily discernible way to see which I have (ie a website / YouTube) and which I don't (ie do most people have their own redit?) @TwinGalaxies.

reminds me that Team Play also did a Centipede/Millipede/Missile Command/Let's Go Bowling FPGA arcade machine. And NAMCO did a Donkey Kong/DK Jr/Mario Bros FPGA arcade machine.

To really push the sanity of the acutely OCD folks in the crowd, many coin-op arcade games in the 90s to current don't even have traditional pcbs, they are running computer towers. And when a drive dies it gets replaced and reimaged which isn't original equipment. This would be most prevalent in the connected driving/racing simulators.

The TG arcade platform surely has both pc based coin-op machines as well as NAMCO coin-op machines mixed in already, so there is plenty more for you guys to discuss and dissect. oyeeeeeeee! :)

As they say in the movie industry, good luck. Actually, who knows if that is what they say....

The coin-op community has long since been using FPGA you just didn't realize it.

--Team Play did a licensed cabinet for Robotron/Joust, and Defender/Defender II. Early FPGA and a a rare game to play but you'll find them around the Disney resorts. I have no idea how well they play in comparison to real.
--NAMCO did the Pacman 25th Anniversary machine which is FPGA
--NAMCO did the Ms Pac/Galaga reunion machine which is FPGA. Spot on recreation of the original gameplay experience with some added code for a continue option, and some other perks.

Pinball has a P-ROC pcb to replace internal hardware.
Stern took a proprietary version of that concept and puts it in their machines starting with The Walking Dead, just a single little board to replace all the traditional pcbs.
This is a really good point. Just saying 'JROK' is allowed is a band-aid solution.

What we really need is a specific list of boards that have been vetted and allowed. It's probably a lot of work but the only really accurate way to do it is on a case by case basis.

If the goal is to keep competitive high score chasing alive on these tracks then JROK should be allowed imo. I'm convinced there is no affect on gameplay based on information provided by others.
