The rumor I heard was that extra server space was secured in advance in order to handle the anticipated traffic increase. I'm not able to reveal my source.

I wanted to ask you guys and gals out there are you afraid of Australia?
I mean I know we have crocodiles and sharks that kill people, however I am curious why so many are so shy to have a go ... let me explain ...

This TG site is brilliant and there are so many services offered from the US that the world loves.
So in return, Australia with Aussie Arcade have invited you folk to play in the MGL as a fun service too ...

We've only got one great guy from each of Pennsylvania, Oregon, New Hampshire and Somewhere (yes he's too frightened to mention which state he is from)
Surely there are people from other states willing to have a go or are prepared to be challenged!
IGBY 2 starts on July 1st so there's plenty of time beforehand to drop those quarters and play for fun in MGL 25.

I also have a couple of players who think Mappy and Congo Bongo suck. Well you can imagine what others think about these players.
Would you mind playing these games in the MGL and putting this right? Can you do good and maybe even hit the top half of the scoreboard?

There are only 3 days to go on Mappy before submissions close and 17 days to go on Congo Bongo ...

Love the poster and the effort.

Now you are a great champion of Scared Stiff, so a measly shark shouldn't scare you.
And by the way there are no sharks in Mappy or Congo Bongo ...

Just a piranha in Congo Bongo ... ... so not as bad as a shark ...
You guys in Texas have a great tradition in gaming ... PSP too right ... so how about it?

Are you all just lurkers on TG?
Quarter time ... if you can handle it ... population 318.9 million (2014), and I've got only 4 so far ...
Please watch the Video Craze and the King of Arcades if you need some inspiration ... and then how about some perspiration ...

      bigredbird ups the shout to 90,950 … a brilliant 2nd placing ...

Congratulations to CrazyKongFan for winning Game 4 and not getting too drunk at the same time …

After 66 days of classic arcade gaming, MGL 25 has now come to a close.

      The final standings are below:

CONGRATULATIONS to the Top 10 in MGL 25 and the next 10 places who improved their scores and made it very competitive for the whole field.
I hope everybody enjoyed playing the games and the friendship over the forum. Some very tough games were selected and it was a good achievement if you could hang in there and not break too much of your furniture.
A total mystery of games this was too!

Congratulations to RMacauley on his 8th MGL win …
His one game win and strong finishing made it go all the way over 66 days right down to the last game on the last day!
Spartan returned to the MGL and played really terrific for an incredible finish and was just pipped into 2nd place by less than 9 points! A great effort!
The reigning champ plays extremely well, wins 2 games and Barra finishes in 3rd place.
CrazyKongFan played strongly including 2 game wins and finishes in 4th place after his inaugural 5th place in MGL 24.
magrinder joins in from NH and scores a very impressive 5th placing.
bigredbird plays his first MGL, not only is he good at Mr Do, but he wins Mr Do’s Castle in Game 7 … and finishes 6th overall.
kane notches up number 17 out of 18 MGLs with a Top 10 finish, in fact even better with 7th place in this MGL.
SectionZ make a welcome return and plays just fine for a super 8th place. Welcome back to the Top 10 since MGL 11!
DKong scores a fine 9th place, wins a game but does not score on Games 7 and 8 … a missed opportunity for sure.
Batfink battles and scores his highest placing in a MGL to make a super Top 10 finish in 10th place.

With 9 games contested there were 7 different game winners … DKong, Barra, RMacauley, CrazyKongFan, DonPedro, bigredbird and Batfink.
Of special note Barra sets a new TG world record on Congo Bongo of 188,100 points in Game 5 of MGL 25.
Congratulations to the game winners too …

I have updated the virtual trophies for the Top 3

      Champion:
      RMacauley

      2nd:
      Spartan

      3rd:
      Barra

Well that was a dramatic MGL 25 … we had 8 new games and nobody knew what games would be played with no call for nominations.
I hope you all enjoyed the tournament and there will be more to come ...
