• Are you prepared to die?

I just purchased a copy of the PS4 release of Dark Souls II and I'm wondering if anyone is thinking about getting it too or already has it? Now if you've played any previous games in this series then you know the multiplayer hasn't always been the best at getting your actual friends on your friends-list to join in on your games. I hope this is fixed for the PS4 version but I have yet to delve into this game as of this post.

I'm a Demon's Souls veteran and not so much of a Dark Souls veteran but you never really forget this style of gameplay (you die if you get confident or absent minded or just because) and you tend to remember to always be prepared for the worst. You actually learn how to die humbly in this game because if you don't you won't really make it to the meat of the game and actually have a good time.

There is a good reason to subject myself to the torment and misery that is Demon/Dark Souls. The reason being is I'm trying to stem my anger issues at losing in videogames. We've all been there and some of us handle it better and... I'm not one of them. When I was trophy hunting for Demon's Souls back in the day I actually didn't hate dying so much because it forced me to learn why I messed up in the first place and what other game flat out tells you that you're going to die a lot? I figure this could really help my pinball playing abilities if I could learn not to get frustrated when I lose(you never win pinball anyways) and finally surpass my personal or other peoples' scores.

Now the real question. Are you really prepared to die?
