After reaching a mutual accord over the conditions of John McAllister's "Yar's Revenge" score, John and Patrick have agreed to cede the 1st place win for the tournament to Patrick Wyrick. Patrick's statement, on behalf of them both: After an intense competition we finally have our Atari champions!

Initially, Jon presented to Jace that there was a glitch during his Yar’s revenge play that cause him to lose all of his lives. I felt to be fair I would allow Jon to replay his game so that a glitch did not cause him to lose, and he and I were extremely close in score going into the last game. Later while discussing the situation with Jon he determined that he had legitimately lost all of his lives and due to spamming the fire button, he had inadvertently started another game but did not realize this until later in the second game. Due to this revelation we both felt the best way to correct the situation was to give Jon points based upon what his score was before losing all of his lives. This meant that I was the Champion and Jon was second place. We both discussed this together and Jon approached Jace to suggest the change.
