A new app called "Pokémon Go" takes the "geo-cache" craze and applies it to a video game - http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/11/health...rnd/index.html (CNN.com articles expires in thirty days after release)
Sounds great, but beware. Two local newspaper articles reported that criminals are using the geolocation feature of the app to anticipate the location and level of seclusion of unwitting victims, many of which have since been robbed as these items are hidden in remote areas like a cemetery or a desertedor low-traffic factory district.
So be forewarned...and if you know of younger gamers getting caught up in this new craze/app, please be sure to let their parents know what their kids may be getting into. Gaming is one thing, but getting targeted for robbery while gaming is another.
