    Track Presentation Errors

I'm trying to enter a score with a decimal and it is only taking an integer, the decimal point keeps being erased.

For example below, if I type 1.9 its taking 19

    Freeway games 2-8 2 player ?

    Hello again,
I'm just wondering if adding these would fall under the derivative check box if I wanted to add them or if I would have to use points again for each one? We got the game 1 2 player added quick but wasn't sure how to go about adding 2-8(I believe) would be.

    Thanks for any help!

something else to consider. I noticed blazing star only exists for mame, not arcade, so you'd have to create the track. Then, you'd obviously get the world record. The owner of the arcade might like the publicity with a world record being set there, perhaps that would convince him to take the time to open it up and let you film.

    Temporary submission hiatus.

I thought about getting that game but then I remembered I literally have hundreds of RPGs I have only tested or not played at all. That means I can level grind for days without having to worry about that perfect game. I just purchased Valkyrie Profile yesterday, which is probably one of the most valuable RPGs for the PS1 so it's time to give levelin' some lovin'.

I have no idea how likely a counterfeit is. I'm just throwing out there what any possible objections could be

    NeoGeo Arcade Cabinet Verification

Is neo geo something that is heavily emulated or counterfeited?
If so then it makes it something that would benefit from further info within realistic situation.

Sounds like if you gather as much info as your situation can provide and you are forthcoming about the context of your experience then folks are going to vote favorably.

    NeoGeo Arcade Cabinet Verification

NEO GEO does have difficult settings. Its not handled through the typical switches. When you're in test mode, you can then set the difficult for the particular game. Opening up the machine honestly only shows whether or not you have a counterfeit. Checking the settings must be done through software. Of course, this is where we get into the argument of "well the setting can be determined through gameplay" -- which they can.

Personally I'd like to see the cart. Nothing has to be removed, just a shot of it inside the machine

I am not familiar with neo geo. Does it have a distinct menu that would make it obvious?

Example for jrok arcade. The menu is so unique that I don't show the pcb in submissions.
But I do always start at the menu and let the game load.
    Same for arcadesd arcade pcb.
The difference with arcadesd is that it is freeplay much like xbox arcade.

Depending on answers above it would seem turning the machine on

This goes along with a lot of other conversations we've been having in a lot of other threads. Ultimately, you can submit whatever you want and its up to the community whether or not to accept. Clearly, seeing the board is ideal though it may not be required. Just include as much info as you possibly can. I would include the name of the arcade where you played, perhaps other people can speak up and verify that arcade runs a legit version.

    arcade game question

RTM REPLY - that's a tough one. In my personal opinion, having played each of these to varying degrees and having seen some of the best players on each, I believe that "Food Fight"...at marathon settings...is the easiest. This is subject to debate as these are all pretty hard titles once you get past the initial few boards.

    Black Widow
    Crystal Castles
    Food Fight
    Joust 2

Official Guidelines for "marathon" scoring submission? (Console, not arcade)

Please disregard this post if there exists such a thread that can help me in answering all these questions (link would be helpful!)

    1) Rest guidelines - I spoke briefly to George Leutz on facebook about his Q Bert marathon and he was telling me you are allowed a 30-40 minute break every 8 hours of play. Is that due to accumulating 5 minutes of rest every hour played? He was speaking about an arcade game marathon, not a console one like
