Member Status Recognition
Just noticing that some members have achieved 10,000 credibility points but they are still classed as senior members. Are there any plans to reward this feat?
Could their Status be updated to something other than senior member?
I need to purchase some of these Mario Party games. I'll have to get back to you on that.Desidious Today, 01:16 PM
Sounds like you are talking about the future of how the general global population is going to experience console gaming.
So how about submitting something and see what complaints or compliments come out of the woodwork?
If I understood what you just said, this will eventually be a tidal wave that TGIS won't be able to stop anyway.
Why no xbox1 love? When I chose PS4 it had little to do with a comparison of the two.
Would anyone like to do co-op challenges of the Pump, Pump and Away and Cosmic Coaster mini-games in Mario Party 3 for N64? Those mini-games are made for 2 vs. 2.Dark Star/Key Today, 12:17 PM
The recording of the event will be uploaded to YouTube shortly!
Thank you for being so patient. :)
Since I've not seen a single Xbox One submission yet I might be the only person who cares about this but I'm pretty stoked about the release of Windows 10 and the possibility of playing my Xbox One games on my PC. Having three kids all at the age of wanting to use the tv means I rarely ever get to play my Xbox One games. The idea of being able to play those games on my pc means I might actually get to play those games once in awhile. It also meansD.B. Cooper Today, 10:23 AM
Thank you d3scride - Very appreciated.BristolMartin Today, 09:13 AM
can't say that I've ever played a Sega let alone this game. just a supporter of passionate racers!
The experts will chime in hopefully.
Gotcha. I was just making a general observation about most of the arcade tracks in the DB. If you want to create it ill donate some points to fund it.d3scride Today, 09:03 AM
There are no Dip Switched on Sega Model 2 - its all in the Service menu under "game assignments"BristolMartin Today, 09:01 AM
Thanks 1500 - Appreciated. Everything look good above?BristolMartin Today, 09:00 AM
post the link once you have the track created and i'll also donate points to help finish it.
I would donate some points for you.
Instead of the "Game Assignments" I would suggest rewording it as "settings"? Also might want a section in the rules for Dip-switch settings:
Something like this: (example)
Dip Switch Bank:
1 = OFF
2 = ON
3-4 = OFF
5-6 = ON
7-8 = OFF
PS4 - Trials Fusion - Greenhorn's Grove Event - Turbine Terror Track: http://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=132445
This track's rules comes through with a grey colour: http://www.twingalaxies.com/showthre...-Scott-Simpson
Can this be changed to white so it is more easily read, please.
Similarly with PS3 - Gran Turismo
If anyone is looking for another competitive car racing game, a few members have just started some tracks up for Ridge Racer 64. I just randomly saw it at the used game store and figured I would give it a try myself. It's no kart racing game but it seems fun enough to get me to try to put some scores up. If you have any other ideas for that game or new track suggestions, let me know. :)Desidious Yesterday, 06:47 PM
saw this on FB, says featuring Jace Hall?
Really well done. :)
These are definitely the check points which help build on the TG legend.
I hope Jace is realizing that these moments need to be documented in a searchable/readable/viewable manner so they become chapters in the story.
TG would have gone completely unremembered if Walter hadn't taken the time to write the stories in a way that captured imagination....the creation of lore.
No one will remember the work on the TGSAP infrastructure
I would be surprised if they didn't eventually provide a link to the event, it just takes time. State of the Galaxies doesn't usually go up until several days after the live broadcast.
On a side note, though, I agree that the event was very well done and would like to see more, similar events, even if they are just exhibitions. I did not expect to watch as much as I did, but sure enough, four hours later I was still glued to the screen.
I am a new member but wish to propose a new track. I have enough points to 1/2 way sponsor this in.
[ARCADE] Sega Rally Championship (Sega Rally 1)
Sega Rally Rules
Fastest Combined Time to complete The Championship stages (First Three Main Stages Desert, Forest & Mountain)
Car : Any Manual Car
Gears : Manual Only
View : Any in game view
I'm all for this. I would love to see more like this from twin galaxies. I think the whole production was excellent.creech Yesterday, 12:47 AM
I have a friend, Thomas Høgsberg aka donkey aka ThomasTHC, who passed away earlier this year. He made a million points on the MAME version of Frenzy and was wondering if Twin Galaxies could honor his memory by adding him to the database somehow?
Performance and information can be found in this thread.
How do we get the Playchoice-10 and MegaTech
There are a few things I would like to point out why it would be beneficial for the community got making the show made public on the TG site via upload.
1) Firstly the introduction by Jace Hall towards the games, the kill screen and the players were excellent. Explaining it in "lay-man" terms to those listening to give everybody the same background even those new to arcade gaming could follow.
Unfortunately, our registration system is not yet set up for team accounts.
The name displayed will not display anything it detects as a middle name.
This issue is defiantly on the list of things to address, and we appreciate your patience!
