|Submission Message||Hello -|
Video submission is for the current Twin Galaxies record for Plotting. The game is part of the Taito Legends compilation for the PS2. I'm starting to figure out the strategy involved in this puzzler. I may submit again in the future as I fiddle with this one some more. The score is good enough for now as I focus my attention on reclaiming the top spot for some other games.
The submission includes footage from a direct feed capture device and video camcorder. Playback milestones of note:

Service Mode: Off

Special Rules: The above are the default internal settings for this title and need not be changed. The ENTIRE 18 Holes of this course must be completed and the entire game must be recorded or your attempt will be instantly disqualified. You may freely continue as necessary. The game will inform you on your score card how many strokes you required after the 18th hole's completion.

Sure, that's one way to respond.
In my submissions, I always try to remember to add "Thank you for adjudicating.". The reason I do this is because I recognize that people are doing me a favor by taking time away from their lives to adjudicate my submission. A lot of people (like myself) don't even need the submission points - they're just adjudicating because it helps the TG community. In recognition of this, I do as much as
For now on, I will record mobile games with a camera since it is what the community wants and to not risk a reject on a good run.starcrytas Today, 07:16 AM
That's what I was talking about previously with the credibility thing - people are voting to their beliefs but they're different decisions. It's already been shown that some people don't want to even vote according to what they believe because of the penalty. But if you think about it being "incorrect" in this case is really a penalty for voting how you feel on a topic that hasn't reached consensus. Maybe it's off topic to this but it justssdninja Today, 07:03 AM
I have a bit of a life-long obsession with the Tapper arcade game and have currently been creeping up the top 10 at Barcade in NYC. I went online to try and find the top scores worldwide but can't seem to find an accurate listing.
There's this points based list: http://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=5203

I've played this in the past (before TG supported Android+iOS platforms) but now I'm looking for it again there are at least five different versions out there. Which one is the scoreboard tracking? If someone could paste the Google App Store link to the thread it'd make life easier. ;)Barthax Today, 03:57 AM
[QUOTE=jmb;765202]just reviewing the rules and noticed they are not appropriate for this.
This was supposed to be for the HUNGARY RACE TRACK which is missing for both NTSC & PAL
it would good if this was fixed.
see the Attached
Here are a few examples I have noticed. Hopefully it is just some glitch that YouTube has going on at the moment for some reason as they are updating.

Heres the situation. If you are not a verified account on YouTube you get your account limited to 15 minutes or less. There is a possibility that for some reason the verification for the Twin Galaxies account has been modified by accident or another account also got associated with the video files and some are being sent there to an unverified account.
Here is some information on it. Sad that some people are getting rejected because
Years ago I used to work as a photographer. I had a very nice setup and things were great. However with all hobbies when you turn it into a job, it doesnt become fun anymore. After 7 years I decided to hang it up and do something else. Over the years since I would miss once and a while having a nice camera to take pictures with, and Ive always wanted to have a nice video camera. However it was never a necesity so I never did anything about it.MrCrix Yesterday, 04:58 PM

Hey everyone. My name is Mike. I own a Retro video game store. A good friend of mine Ryan Genno posted that he just submitted a world record for Bonks Adventure on the TG16. I decided to sign up and finally submit the videos that I had made years ago for records. Since then Ive told my store manager and marketing manager about this and instead of playing games during slow times in the store, we are going to try and break some world records sinceMrCrix 04-24-2015, 09:08 PM
I think both regions (PAL, NTSC-U, and NTSC-J) should be combined whenever possible and newer platforms should also be combined. Similarly, Street Fighter IV is the same on the XBox 360 as it is on the PS3 - they and other games that are the same should be combined.donatreides 04-24-2015, 08:37 AM
NES tournament is likely to be postponed as it will be too much for me to manage three tournaments running at once on the brand new site. It is NOT cancelled ... more details will be posted soon. For now, assume it will not be happening on the 9th and will be pushed back a month or two.WCopeland 04-24-2015, 08:19 AM
... and I only suggest that be modified to include "only where they are like-for-like". Otherwise, showing them on the same page is reasonable as separate tables. There has to be a mechanism for merging them as knowledge is found and also there has to be a mechanism for splitting them apart again when they are proven to not be the same. For example, Sonic the Hedgehogs appear to be the same but there are more rings in one of the JapaneseBarthax 04-24-2015, 06:25 AM
This suggests that a group of gamers are somehow lesser due to geography. I agree there should be a method of comparing regions but if the comparison is not like for like then the separate regions are equal due to overcoming different factors. If the speed running community (or other group) want to view a particular console as optimal, that's understandable but don't belittle a region of gamers for (perceived) wrongs done by manufacturers.
It was mentioned before that old tracks couldn't/wouldn't have rule changes. Solution was to create a new track instead.
How is this done? I tried and it resultet in a duplicate track. How can we suggest an obviously broken track to be grandfathered?
My Mario Party DS Study Fall 0 score did not get on the scoreboard, but it was accepted.
Topic seen here in the accepted section:
Here shows that my score is not on my page:
it's a real shame, for us late starters, to not have been able to play using the old emulators. I'm sure the "grandfathered" scores still count for records?
However, there are 3 alternatives.
1. highscore.com. where you can upload video or photo evidence,
2. Retro uprising, who host all the emulators, you just need a plug in.
3. HARP. (Home Action Replay Page). HARP is the same as MARP, but it is for all consoles/computers
For pre generation 7 consoles (PS2 and earlier), there exists a region based separation (PAL & NTSC). In an effort to increase competition and remove unnecessary dilution in the scoreboard, will Twingalaxies consider merging these tracks together, and add a "Region" attribute (PAL, NTSC-U (NA), NTSC-J(Japan)) within the database
