Just a brief note regarding the next few major updates:

Score Dispute System - this has been worked on for a while and will soon begin testing on our internal servers to try to shake out bugs. Once implemented into the main site, the community can then begin its long desired official conversations regarding scores believed to be fraudulent in the database. The mission and purpose of course is to have the best database integrity possible.

Direct Twitch Link upload for submissions - This is also in testing. A user simply places a twitch link in the submission form and the TG system pulls it straight from Twitch without the user having to download anything. For the first implementation, the upload size limit using this method will be about 5GB, which roughly translates to a 2 hour stream.

Certificates - at long last a system will be put in place that will allow for certificates to be awarded and distributed. We are working on making the certificates very difficult to counterfeit. Since we do not currently have any ads, membership fees, or any revenue generating systems in place on Twin Galaxies, this unfortunately means that we can not make these high quality physical certificates be free for members who want them and we will have to figure that part out.

Live Adjudications - We are working on the ability to make it possible for the TG adjudicating community to verify / validate performances live and on the spot. Aside from individual use, this system can help gaming locations promote live record attempt events that are near-instantly authenticated / documented by TGSAP.

Finally if a score challenge system happens there is NO excuse to keep the Archives hidden as it will be needed as EVIDENCE of not 1 but several cheaters on this SITE


Including one on SOS every freaking week!!!!!!!!

I wish there was a "Twin Galaxies Merchandise" section where we could buy shirts, mugs and other branded items. The profits of this could be used to fund certificates, or people could outright buy the certificates. Just an idea.

I look forward to the these new features.

Score "dispute" system, "challenge" system, "error" system, "bogus" system, "typo" system. I dont care what you call it, as long as its ready, enabled and working properly with strict guidelines! (eg. valid video proof to show specific scoring errors based on the current rules)

Certificates!

I'm intrigued by the hard to counterfeit part and how that translates into the final certificate format. Paying for them is perfectly reasonable and would be in keeping with past TG practice.

Live adjudication also sounds like a very interesting idea - looking forward to more details about its implementation

I don't mind paying either, especially if the quality is good.

Ill trade 14,000 submission points for a TG Hoodie though!

I would think a site like zazzle or something similar would work. They would just have to take the logo and "create" merch the first time around then you're good to go. Have to choose the product, logo, where/how you want it placed, then upload it to your shop. Products aren't created until they are ordered. It looks like a good site for places with very little to no cash to put out up front. I've never bought anything off of there though, anyone have any feedback to the quality of items from this or sites like these?

I would gladly purchase certificates. Just like how Walter used to sell them, I had no issues with that and am really happy I was able to get a few from him before he retired.
