At long last the Twin Galaxies Dispute System has been made available.

For more specific information on how it works and how you can participate -

Please see this wall entry
https://www.twingalaxies.com/entry.ph...Dispute-System

We have tested the system as much as possible but there still may be some glitches that get discovered under heavy use. We appreciate your patience as we sort them out as needed.

As we all know this system going to generate a lot of conversation, some of which will be contentious. It is important that the discussions remain civil and as fact-based as possible.

In all regards, Twin Galaxies appreciates all interest from the community that chooses to take the time to help maintain the integrity of the score database!

Please always keep in mind that Twin Galaxies will view a dispute claim as a very serious matter, and deliberate abuse or misuse of this upcoming system will be met with a harsh administrative response.

The dispute system is in full swing now but no dispute has yet to be completed. I have a query concerning those dispute threads which get accepted & the question stems from the disputer's name being on the thread. Once the dispute is rejected does the dispute go into the rejected disputes forum? If it does, then does the "View Dispute" link disappear from the score ready for someone else to make a dispute claim?

The reason I ask is that if there is a video to upload regarding the dispute, it can only be uploaded into TG archive via the initial dispute. However, if the original dispute goes back to being voted on as suggested by the descriptions on how this works (i.e., there's no need for a rejected disputes forum), a video would have to come from a third-party source and therefore be prone to removal at a third-party's whim.

I have a suggestion. The only being able to create a dispute every 24hr. I'd like to know if it can be changed to your only allowed to post 1 dispute per 24hr cycle. The cycle would reset at midnight or some time that you choose. The reason for this is that if you have a backlog of disputes you want to post you have to wait 24hr and 1 min. This new cycle would make it so that you could post your dispute any time during the day and not have to wait a full 24 hr period.
