We are pleased to announce that we have added an additional way for members to submit their video evidence - Direct Twitch Link Upload!

Now when submitting a score performance you will be presented with both the option to upload a video directly from your computer - AS WELL AS - the option to to supply a Twitch link to a video.

If you supply a Twitch link, the Twin Galaxies system will directly download it straight from Twitch to Twin Galaxies' own video server for proper preservation.

Current limitations of the system require that the twitch video should not exceed 3 hours.

If you are going to use a twitch video from a lengthy stream, we recommend that you use Twitch's clip/highlight tool to snip out the actual performance you want to submit and then supply that clip/highlight link on the submission form.

Accomplishing this functionality was a fairly sizable feat, but Twin Galaxies really wants to support the community needs as much as possible. We hope this new functionality is helpful to many.

Onward!

So, I tried it out last night by linking to a Twitch video in my submission.

Looks like the system failed to encode the Twitch video properly.

What was the exact link you used?

It would have bee the "share" link for the video supplied by the Twitch web site.

In this case, I believe it was []https://www.twitch.tv/videos/162041261[]

(what's the right way to post the video link without it auto-embedding?)
