Dear Community

We are pleased to announce the launch of redesigned leaderboard. We have really worked hard to change the flow and design .

We would really appreciate if the community gives us constructive feedback on the changes .We have tested the functionality but there might be a few errors or bugs . Please be assured that we are on standby to resolve any issues or errors.

We have removed the concept of premium/non premium tracks . We only consider the record count on a particular track to make it relevant .

We really hope that the community will like the changes and help us make TG better .

Hi marcade

I would request you to let me know what browser are you using .

We have tested the filters on multiple browsers and machines . Once you click on a filter the system will only show the games under the selected platform. You donot need to type anything

Please see the screenshot below

Hi Max

We took your example and typed in Donkey Kong 3. We see the below

After this we selected MAME and we see the below result

If you are going to stick with game name searches as it appears you are, when a platform is clicked after selecting a game name, ONLY tracks for that platform should appear. I could understand these results if multiple platforms are clicked, but in the example above, why show non mame when only mame is being requested?

If for some reason you think that displaying non mame tracks is important despite clicking mame as the sole platform (and this would baffle me), at least list the platform underneath the game name so we don't have to randomly click through results to try and locate a track.

Excellent. I mentioned this a few posts ago, but want to mention it again as it would be a great help. Please add a column for ESI in the viewable database. If there are 40 entries on a board, one could see the ESI earned on each of the 40 positions. From a user point of view, instead of just seeing the top ten shuffled off to the left hand side, a user could now see all ESI for every position on the board.

I don't at all recognize track averaging.

Example: DK has several tracks and all ESI for each track is computed to show an overall skill level for DK. The skill involved in the ATTARCT track is not at all comparable to a DK points track. Combining the ESI on these multiple tracks does not reflect an overall DK skill level. I would never look at DK in this manner as a user, why does it show in this manner on the top ten ESI earners on the left?

Likewise, ZK points and ZK Coconut stage represent two very different games with two very different skill sets. They are not comparable. The ESI earned for two very different tracks should not be averaged and combined. Other than sharing a game name, they are very different games.

Zen Pinball points versus Zen Pinball five minute games are not comparable.

These are just a few examples.

Thank you admin.

Note that I am not able to see your images on either your post to Marc a moment or two ago or to your post to me a moment or two ago.

I just ran another search: I typed in "Donkey Kong 3" then clicked mame and received identical results as described a few posts back. An image of those results is below. I am currently using Firefox as a browser.

Also, when clicking on just atari 2600 VCS (or any console), I continue to receive the same results as Marc. It appears that all games regardless of console are delivered.

I'm also not seeing any system filtering for the moment.

Using Chrome 61.0.3163.100 on Windows 10.

I go to the records page. Scroll down to the bottom of the console list, and select Xbox 360. Still continuing to see games from all consoles.

Did a cache clear and shift-reload at the main page before doing so.

All items are fixable in the system . It will be great if you help us wirh exact issues when you say stuff is messed up.

I understand. Hopefully when it all gets ironed out, browsing will be easy.

The platform ESI does work, and has the correct ESI now, but nothing else works. People have mentioned it all in previous comments. For example, it's annoying having to find someone who has records for a game I'm interested in, then scan through their records for the game so I can see the scores. Search bars don't work, games don't come up under platforms, games are listed under the wrong platforms. That list of popular games that comes up when you first click on the platforms tab... You should ditch that. It's useless and it shows up on all the platforms. I'm tired of seeing it. It makes me angry lol

When you share a track on Facebook, the h1z1 logo pops up and not the twin galaxies logo. It's misleading and needs to be fixed.

The game images are great, until you run in to a game that does not have an image, then it just looks like the site is broken.

There doesn't seem to be a way to add the missing image in. If there is no actual image, there should be a placeholder image.

I'm more than happy to submit missing images for games if that is a thing.

Also I think there should be an option for the user to toggle between list view and image view - something that can be saved to their user profile.

Looks like some tracks are not properly listing the number of records in the track. For example, Midway Arcade Origins on the Xbox 360:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game_det...=1&ref=fbshare

The Bubbles track has two records, shown by viewing them, but it's listed as having 0 records in the header, and is sorted as such.

Small thing first - it would be nice if you could just hit [Enter] in the search field to lodge your query rather than having to click the adjacent search button. Well, both would be nice...

Filtering still isn't working properly for me in any of Edge/Firefox/Chrome. And yes, I've sacrificed all my caches.

Clicking on one platform seems to make no difference, however... and I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned (yes, I know I should check), but clicking on more than one platform seems to perform some sort of filtering... appears to be neither the union nor the intersection of the two platforms, but it's hard to check at the moment.

e.g. when I select both "TI-85" & "PC Engine", I get only these results...
Insane Game 2.71
Jezzball
Squarez
Nibbles

... all of which are "TI-85 only" listings, not sure if that's the only entries for this platform, and no "PC Engine" entries, and I know they exist (e.g. Shinobi).

When I add a third platform, say "Tiger Electronics", I keep the entries above and get the additional entry of Mega Man 2, once again not sure if that's the only entry for that platform?

If I remove any two of these platforms, it reverts to what appears to be the full unfiltered list again.

Which raises another question of whether the intention is for multiple platform selection to create an "AND" or an "OR" type query... and which would have more value to our users. I can see merit in both.

Hmm, I don't know if you're being serious, or messing around now, since I've answered you on this question 3 times already over the past couple of years. One time was just a few weeks ago...lol!

Yes, Harmony carts have been approved for submissions for about 8 years. Though the list is archived now, it was one of the original carts added to the approved flash cart list..

https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthre...ti-Flash-Carts

The list is still in effect, and I still update it when a new cart gets used for a submission and the score is approved by the community - So yes, Everdrives were accepted by the community a while ago and they are good-to-go for submissions (I beat you to the punch, because I know the Everdrive question was coming next. I win. haha!)

I can't see anybodies image posts. Literally. Not a one, they all have the ripped paper symbol.......unless you guys are actually posting ripped paper images to ***** with me. If that's the case, it's working and you guys are dicks.

Aside from my own recent image, I see one from JJT. Everybody else's does not display.

I see them all...

... and if the images on the previous line don't appear for you guys, then there's a good chance I've just branded myself a dick! :P Seriously, they're there for me.
But I see no avatar for JJT, as if he hasn't submitted one, rather than a broken link. One of these...

Suffice to say all's not completely well for now? Baby steps...

EDIT: don't sweat this message too much, seems I missed the point.
