I just submitted my score for the game Steel Empire on the Sega Genesis and I had accidentally keyed in an extra "7" in the score making it 48,775,600 instead of 4,875,600.

Here is the link: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthre...496#post949496

Also I am unsure if whether or not my video had uploaded successfully.

The scoreboard rankings are not consecutive for Colecovision - Zaxxon, skills 1, 2, and 4.

There are two identical tracks...

https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=131866
https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=131867

Rules & ROMsets are identical, but each has been listed under different Game Entries. The friendly URLs respectively are as follows...

https://www.twingalaxies.com/legend-o...st-completion/
https://www.twingalaxies.com/a****a-n...st-completion/

Note the similar game names, however they are separate & different games ("legendos" & "ashnojoe"). The latter track is correct, listed under the "ashnojoe" ROMset.
The former should be removed/blocked - its scoreboard is empty.

Aside from this duplication, the "legendos" Game Entry does however have another Points track, which appears to be OK.

Thanks @TRB_MetroidTeam we want rule sets to be as clear and concise as possible. A lot of what you provided counts as extra information. Coming soon, when you select ‘View Rules’, an additional window of extra information will be displayed. I have added the extra info for this game to this, even though people cannot yet view it. The extra info box is also where we are leaving a copy of the rules before we tidied them up, so people can see what was changed.

At the bottom of the rules we are putting the date of revision for future reference.

My suggestion is to add more details, because the Option Menu is different between both game versions.
In my opinion, the rule would be this:

To access "Option Mode", hold L and press START.
To enter "Options Mode" is NOT a requirement, because the default settings are allowed.
It's allowed to use default or harder difficulty (game level). If you use harder difficulty, it's required to show your Option Menu and follow these settings:

For FINAL FIGHT game, settings to be used:
- GAME LEVEL: "NORMAL", "HARD" or "EXPERT"
- PLAYER: "06"
- EXTEND: "200000 EVERY" (it means: 1st extra life at 100k, then 1 extra life at every 200,000 thereafter)

For FINAL FIGHT GUY game, settings to be used:
- DIFFICULTY--a: "04", "05", "06", "07" or "08"
- DIFFICULTY--b: "02", "03" or "04
- PLAYER "06"
- EXTEND "200000 EVERY" (it means: 1st extra life at 100,000 then 1 extra life at every 200,000 thereafter)

Other rules:
This track is measured by number of points (highest score).
Single player only.
Any character is allowed.
Use of continues is NOT allowed.
Use of codes is NOT allowed (except "Options Menu" code).

The required ROMset "suprmrio" is missing from the rules of these two tracks:

I’m not sure if this is the correct place for this, but I’m pretty sure there’s an error on space invaders. Clicking on the artwork for the gameboy color version leads to the track list for the original gameboy version. The gbc version, you get to pick between two different ships and there’s more story elements, while it’s the version on the original gameboy that has the snes game if you use a super gameboy, so im pretty sure the cover art needs to be changed so it’s not misleading.

The five tracks for Xbox 360 Child of Eden need to be renamed to better represent the in-game names.

//www.twingalaxies.com/game/child-of-eden/xbox-360/

The tracks here on Twin Galaxies are just named "Stage 1" through "Stage 5". But in game, they have actual names instead, and this could cause confusion.

The actual in-game names, in order, are "Matrix", "Evolution", "Beauty", "Passion", and "Journey".

Perhaps update then to something like "Stage 1 - Matrix"?

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/eli...3-player-team/
https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/eli...4-player-team/

The rules for both of these tracks indicate ROMset "elim2" but this only allows up to two players. ROMset "elim4" allows up to four players, this is almost certainly the correct ROMset.

Also, the 3-player track should be moved to the "Eliminator (4 Players)" game entry...

2600 - Moon Patrol

The titles of all of these (NTSC,PAL,EMU) say Game 1, Difficulty B but that doesn't make any sense for this game. Left Difficulty only dictates whether the background music is on or off and Right Difficulty is if your Moon Buggy is 2 speed or 3 speed. @Snowflake and I are working this track and want to clear up the confusion. Also the use of Game 1 in the title is obtuse as the game starts in Medium but the Rules state the modes are Easy to Medium to Hard. This looks to be a "clean up" of the rules making all Atari 2600 1-B rules where this was not the case in the past. As we have no way of knowing what previous scores were done we'd like to see the starting mode be made Player's Choice as the manual states "Regardless of the course on which you start, the difficulty level
progresses as you continue on your journey.".

Title Update: Remove Game 1, Difficulty B from the Title and change it to Points

Rules Update: Left Difficulty only dictates if background music is played or muted and is player choice, Right Difficulty affects Moon Buggy speed with A being 2 Speed and B being 3 Speed and is player's choice, Starting Mode: Easy, Medium, or Hard is player's choice

I agree with everything said above.

to elaborate, a continued frustration of mine is many atari tracks say "1b" when either "1b" makes no sense due to it either literally not even being an option, or it being an option at a time when photograph was allowed and it made no sense to allow photo proof of the hardest setting. It seems since 1b is usually the easiset setting, that was just added across the board.

time it makes no sense
1. photograph was allowed and its not the easiest setting
2. There is only one game so "game 1" is meaningless
3. games arent numbered, though it could be argued first option to come up is "1"
4. both difficulty switches work in conjunction, so for example "BB", "AB", "BA", "AA" all have a meaning, but "B" alone means nothing.. consier if "BB"= easy, "AB"=normal, "BA"=hard, "AA"=expert is it really reasonable to assume "B" mean "BB" (easy) or "BA" (hard) so player can choose easy or hard, but not normal or expert? I highly doubt that was the intention, and rather someone just guessed at setting without knowing anything about the game
5. "difficulty" switches arent used for difficulty but rather controller options. example, "B" might mean "button press fires" whereas "A" might mean "button presses disables firing", at that point its just a preference if you want the default behavior to be firing or not, and the button press in game flips it. In the case of moon patrol, one switch is used to control the music.
6. the switches dont due as you'd expect. The most ridiculous case is he-man "masters of the universe". In this game, "B" means game 3, and "A" means game 1, so "1B" actually contradicts itself. Also, the "black and white/color" switch is used to affect difficulty in this game. So the switch that affects difficulty is ignored from the rules, the switched which as listed as "B" means game 3, and the rules state game 1

for all the reasons, it seems clear to me, "1B" was just a guessed setting after the fact, when "users choice" was the original setting.
