Another day, another roster change in the world of professional CS:GO. A player for Ronin Esports announced a change in the team's roster today.
Roster mania hit the world of professional CS:GO very hard a week ago and it seems to not be disappearing anytime soon, as organizations continue to make roster changes, due to the hope of making their team better or outside circumstances forcing their hand. The latter was the reasoning behind the roster change that will be taking affect for Ronin Esports. Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce announced the details of the change on his Twitter account this morning.
Deciding to put his professional CS:GO career on hold for now, Jonathan "Jonji" Carey is stepping down from the active roster to focus on his education. He will be replaced by former Counter Logic Gaming member Steve "reltuC" Cutler. While sudden roster changes are not always welcomed, Ronin is getting a proven veteran to fill the void left by Jonji.
Ronin Esports roster now consists of the following players:
- David "Xp3" Garrido
- Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce
- Jeff "REZU" Ngo
- Collin "wrath" McSweegan
- Steve "reltuC" Cutler
With the addition of a veteran in the scene, Ronin will be looking for reltuC to help lead this team through the fire and flames that will be waiting for them in the world of professional CS:GO. His first test with the team will be in the Mountain Dew League, as Ronin Esports will be competing against Freedom 35 tomorrow at 6:35 PM PST.
