It’s not every day that you get to compete in a Major DotA 2 tournament, where fame and fortune can be found if only you and your team does well. But what happens when you win not just the games, but the hearts and minds of the viewers and fans watching? Well, for ESL One Katowice, the player that is voted the MVP at the end of the tournament will not only receive praise and acclaim, but thanks to their major sponsor Mercedes-Benz, they will also be taking home a new car.
At ESL One Hamburg in 2017, the winner of the MVP award was Alexei “Solo” Berezin, who achieved this title through his captaining of his team, Virtus.pro, and his superb in game skill as the teams support.
