ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals Will Be Returning to Dallas

ESL will be making its way to Dallas for the finals of ESL Pro League Season 7, as teams will be competing for the largest share of the massive $1,000,000 prize pool.

The finals of ESL's Pro League seasons are consistently some of the biggest events in the world of professional Counter Strike: Global Offensive. The Season 7 Finals will be no different, as ESL has announced the exciting details of the Season 7 champion crowning event.  

Announced on ESL's website today, the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals will be taking place in Dallas, Texas from May 18th to the 20th at the Verizon Theater. 16 teams will be making their way to Dallas to compete for the largest share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and the right to call themselves ESL Pro League Season 7 champions.

Teams will compete in three days of group stage matches to determine who will move on to the playoffs. The playoffs will consist of two quarterfinal matches, two semifinal matches and the grand final match, which will all be played in front of a live audience.  

Ken Hershman, Commissioner and Executive Chairman of WESA, stated in the announcement that he is very excited to see the Season 7 Finals make their way to Dallas.  

"We are looking forward to bringing the Pro League Finals back to Dallas after such a successful Season Six Finals in Odense. This year we will expand the opportunity for Pro League competition to even more talented teams around the globe, and we look forward to an exciting year and eagerly await the Finals."

Tickets for the event will be going on sale this Friday, February 23rd at 10 AM CST.
