Sometimes, it seems like there's nothing you can do in a fighting game match. That said, this Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite Player played the patient game and they were rewarded for it.

When you’re faced with a difficult situation, it’s easy to lose your cool and do something stupid. In fighting games like Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite this could be mashing out a move that might be unsafe or supering at the worst possible moment. But sometimes, you get that lucky hit and everything seems to be going your way - until it doesn’t.

Such is the life of S-ride001, the Haggar player in the video below. The video clip begins as Haggar finishes off a Nemesis with very little life left. Then, out comes a low (but not nearly as low) health Hawkeye. After navigating through the opposing barrage of projectile arrows by Mango4Tango’s Hawkeye, he finally lands that one lucky hit with the Steel Pipe and goes for a combo to end the round, first utilizing the Rapid Fire Fist Hyper Combo attack, then finishing the job with the Double Lariat attack for the KO.

Sometimes, all it takes is the right timing and skill. Mango4Tango thought he had this in the bag, but he came up against every fighting gamer’s worst nightmare: A comeback.
