 Donald Hayes, classic gaming superstar from New Hampshire in the U.S.A., has notched another stellar accomplishment: a new world record on the legendary Super Zaxxon coin-op arcade video game with a score of 496,950 achieved on January 27, 2003. Considered to be one of the "10 hardest games of all time," Super Zaxxon has defied all-comers for 20 years, with Greg McLeod of Nova Scotia holding the record since July 25, 1983 with 339,750 points, scored at Back Street Amusements in Halifax, NS, Canada. Hayes' new record is no surprise to the classic gaming world, since he also holds the world record on TRON and Centipede, both major titles.
