Billy Mitchell, recognized as history's most famous
video game
player, also has a mention, on page 181. It reads: "FIRST PERFECT
PAC-MAN SCORE.
The first person to ever achieve a perfect score on PAC-MAN was Billy
Mitchell (USA). On July 3, 1999, he played the game for nearly six
hours continuously, on one quarter coin, eating every dot, energizer,
blue man, and fruit on each of the 256 boards, after which the game
runs out of memory and ends with a split screen. Billy used only one
life and his final perfect score was 3,333,360 points. The event was
monitored by Twin Galaxies, the world's authority on computer game high
scores." Click
