Fourteen more old news clippings were just found, showing the
history of gaming in the golden age

Fairfield, Iowa -- March 7, 2006 -- After some
searching
on the internet, we came across many newspaper
articles that we were unaware of that reported on Twin Galaxies' past
activities. Some of them reported on historic events and others even
mentioned
legendary scores from the past -- like Pac-Man high scores -- that
later proved to be false
submissions.
A media specialist in the mid-80s had
estimated that Twin Galaxies had appeared in the news about 10,000
times by 1985. Though it's hard to quantify the amount of coverage Twin
Galaxies
received during that era, it is surprising how many times Twin Galaxies
was included in national or international wire stories that were
circulated throughout the worldwide media. Among these 14 news reports
listed below nine of them were either AP or UPI articles that enjoyed
immense distribution.
