The annual Texas Pinball Festival in Grapevine, TX has come and gone, with the event bringing pinball and video gamers from around the US together to compete to be the best!
The event saw appaerances by Stern Pinball President Gary Stern, pinball competition by former NBA star Todd MacCulloch, the brand new CSI and 24 pinball machines, and the first-ever Twin Galaxies World Record Holder on Big Buck Safari!
Wizard of Wor World Record holder Doug Lowry was also present through the event playing WoW nearby the Twin Galaxies booth in the tournament area and greeting gamers who were amazed at his gameplay on the classic title.
Twin Galaxies Big Buck Safari contest saw entrants from across the country and a great deal of competion from men and women alike. The winner of the contest was Steven Guenther of Corpus Christi, TX, who broke over 200,000 points total in the finals of the contest, which required play through all 5 full animal adventures in succession to claim the first-ever World Record here at Twin Galaxies. All scores on seperate animal adventures were also recorded and will result in numerous World Records and rankings, all of which will be entered into the database over the coming days.
