Out of 3380 steps from all the songs (excluding the 13 freeze steps), Jason managed to score perfects 97.72% of the time & only miss 0.12% (4) steps in his run. Jason has also managed to score 98.67% of all possible points in his run.
With the new record set, I asked Jason a few questions.
TS: How long have you been playing DDR?
JG: I was introduced to DDR about 2 1/2 years ago, but I didn't get into the game until 18 months ago.
TS: How long have you practiced before going after the record?
JG: I didn't really practice for the world record. I guess you could call it pure talent.
TS: With only a 1.33% margin between you and the "Perfect Score" [of 690 Million], is there anybody in the world that might beat your record?
JG: I'm pretty sure that there's a few people that can break my record, but they may not be willing to submit to Twin Galaxies' strict standards.
TS: Is there any other records you're planning to go after?
JG: I'd like to go for the World Record on In The Groove, once the rules are established.
