I was reviewing the entire TG database of arcade world records in order to update the thread on "Undisputed Champions" as well as the "Celebrating 25 Years" thread seeing how we are now in 2015, when I caught this...
How is it possible that on "Green Beret" (aka "Rush'n Attack") someone scores more than 6 million points considering the score freezes at 999,xxx ?
I checked the MARP site and the top scores are all maxed out at 999,xxx.
The TG arcade WR needs to be removed, I think.
This definitely caught my attention. The "Rush'n Attack" version's top score held by Michael ONeill is 489,540 and the Green Beret version's world record held by Michael Robertson is 6,166,500.
There's a Rush n Attack on MARP with over 5 million with the following special rule:
3,900 seconds @ 1 unit every 4 seconds BUT your first game counts. When that game is over, regardless of the time left, your high score attempt is over.

But nothing is mentioned of this of the 6 million plus score?
I'm guessing that it is in the wrong track. I"m guessing either playchoice 10 or maybe one of the consoles.
Will just have to wait till they get the process up and running for correcting scores being in the wrong track
or impossible scoring.
