The ESI formula listed on the help page is incorrect

The formula for calculating ESI, as listed on the Help/Tutorial page, is incorrect.

Quote:

ESI VALUE = (X + 1 - Number of Players on Current Rank)+ (X + 1 - Number of Players on Current Rank) * (1 - (AverageRankPercent/100)) * ScoreRankPercent/100)

The parenthesis for the formula are unbalanced, making it hard to determine what the actual calculations for ESI are.

Yeah I'd thought that this had been addressed back at the time of this TG wall post:

I suggested an update to the ESI formula and I think it was applied in the calculation but was never applied to the help/info page. Comment 12 I think.

Checking in, as it appears that this has not been fixed yet.

Also, the description of what AverageRankPercent means is insufficiently clear - what "Rank Percent" in this context? Various attempts to reproduce the calculations myself have not been successful for even the number one position, and assuming the rank 1 formula is correct, this is the only piece that's not completely clear.

Rank Percent is what percent your rank's score is of the #1 rank score. Rank percentage for a #1 score will always be 100.

EDIT: Average Rank Percent is just the arithmetic mean of all Rank Percent values.

I actually did some more playing around after posting this, and realized what's key here. The first place rank of 100 is excluded from the average calculation. Once I did that, the values were matching up with what I'm seeing on the site.
