The game did release as part of the "Street Fighter Collection" and it would be my recommendation to have it moved to a track under that title. I'm pretty sure that this was the way that TG handled the names of these "collection" games at that time.

I agree that the best game name is Street Fighter Collection, and the sub-title is Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers (the game to be played).

Considering that this track has only one submission: my score, and that there's not a Street Fighter Collection game for Saturn on TG database, my recommendation is not to move the score to a new variation.

My recommendation is to change the game name on this own track (Street Fighter Collection), then add proper details in the rules, including that the game to be played is Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers on the Disc 1 of the game.

If possible, please create additional new tracks for the sub-titles:
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo (in Japan: Super Street Fighter II X: Grand Master Challenge); and
- Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold (in Japan: Street Fighter Zero 2' (note the correct simbol ' and not the word Dash).

Very consistest rules, this way.

Additional info: the exact same names / sub-titles and rules of these Saturn variations can be used to the Playstation version.

Also, can we get clarification on the rules for this track? The current rules kind of leave it open to play on any difficulty, timer set to on or off, and shortcut set to on or off. Nice that we have the original submitter still around to answer questions. Was the submitted score performed at 8 stars difficulty?

The other option settings are pretty benign, but again it would be nice to have them clearly defined. Game timer is always required to be set to 'on' on these titles. Shortcut is also commonly if not always required to be set to 'of**. I believe these are the defaults, but it would be good to have these clearly defined.

Also getting the other titles on this collection added to available tracks would be a nice bonus, for those of us that are lucky enough to own this extremely valuable (for whatever reason) version/release of the SF Collection offerings. :)

Considering that...
- the score in dispute is mine,
- YesAffinity currently is the record holder in this variation,
- the reason of dispute is "...this game does not have it's own dedicated release on sega saturn", and
- both players agree/suggest/recommend that just edditing the game name and rules would be perfect...

I suggest that TG staff do this and solve the issue.

This looks spot on, and I like the fact that the name variations are included for different regions. We all know the current state of the collector's market, and opening up the track to include the same game with a slightly different name due to region of release, is a great idea. More potential opportunity for competition.

As far as I know, this game doesn't have differences in the gameplay, comparing "USA" and "Japan" version.

And both are "NTSC" (about the clock/speed).

TRACK RULES

This is a points challenge for Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, which can be found on Disc One of the Street Fighter Collection.
Players can select any character.
Difficulty should be set at "8" (maximum difficulty – select 8 yellow stars on the screen).
Time limit should be set to "ON".
Any other settings, including Short Cuts, are the player's choice, as long as they are within the confines of the game.
