Submission Message	Hi Everybody. Here is my submission for Alpiner. System and game shown at the beginning. My record is the 2nd game in the video which starts around 6:00. When I first started playing this game I was confused by the timer and the scoring. If you are not familiar with how this game works, here is a transcription of the manual: http://www.videogamehouse.net/alpiner.txt In short, you get points for climbing up. If you get knocked down, you have to reach your previous elevation before you start earning more points. The timer does not count down unless you are not moving, and the remaining time when you reach the top goes in to a calculation for bonus points. Thanks for watching and voting. Attachment 29002

Great score, accepted. There were some really close calls with the rocks, good patience getting through that stuff. I've tried and have yet to get to level 7. I see ice comes down at that last level you were playing.

I don't believe there are a lot of climbing games out there so this is a rare treat. Seeing a TI 99/4A is even rarer.

And I like your trick where you're half-on half-off the screen and climbing ... that's a brilliant move.

Re the graphics, it's still 1984 in my mind (in gaming time), so my perception of graphics is very different from others.

I still think Intel graphics are the bomb LOL

I know ... I know .... newer systems have come out with better graphics; but I just love the game-play on the intel.
