That's my understanding as well. You'd have to go searching for the other tracks as the most competitive would rise to the top of the listing when looking at a game's tracks.

5 credits? That means anyone who wants a high score will need to do about an hour of point pressing in mission 5 (5X the normal amount of time spent sitting in the same spot tapping the fire button). This would be a fun track for masochists, or players who like to read a book or watch a TV show while playing.
Yeah I get what you're seeing a bit better now. There are many people (myself included) who submit scores without thinking "world champion" and just want their performance posted and tracked. All my Gods Eater scores I do not consider world records as I'm sure there are people that have put more time into it but I've put a lot of effort into the game myself so why not post the scores I get. Maybe it'll bring more people along interested in the game and maybe competition will arise and I can maybe hone some of my skills from this for the future. Gotta look at the bigger picture, bro. :)
So putting myself in the position of a junior member who wants to submit to this track. I apply the above settings. Then in the case I lose a credit of lives. Then what? I'm still going to wonder if I can continue or not. Not explicitly listing if continues are allowed or not will always put this track under question or put off potential submitters altogether. There's a free-play option as well in this game. If you don't allow continues then you can write in something like "Player may choose any credit option but may not continue after losing a credit full of lives." If you allow continues then after 5 credits add in something like "Continues allowed, use of all 5 credits allowed if necessary.
If the latter is the case then as Pat33999 pointed out, PLEASE specify the Mission 5 APC glitch is not allowed. No adjudicator will find a run interesting where a player spends 10+ lives abusing such a glitch.
Though from your original post, it seems like you tried your best to match your track to the arcade tracks, so I think your intentions originally were to not allow continues. Lastly, about what PC version is allowed on this track. I do think adding in Steam in the title would also help as well as Desidious mentioned. As trying to accommodate each version would require you to pretty much play each version yourself and in my opinion the whole task would be too troublesome for just one track.
Unfortunately the description in the 1st post can't be corrected so this will either:
1. be fully funded (25 more points) and noone will ever submit to it because of the iffy rules
2. be stuck in funding limbo forever as TG doesn't have a measure in place to clean stuff up
Best action would be to start a new track for Metal Slug on the PC platform in the New Game Track Marketplace, with the correct rules and allow all PC versions to participate.
@Dave Hawksett This track has two issues that will likely make it languish forever
1. This was initiated back when tracks used to cost 50 to fund, now they only cost 25. Can any remaining track that requires 50 pts be dropped to 25 (which would actualy result in this completing).
2. This one appears to have languished over wording concerns that cant be fixed. Is it possible for the track creator to fix the wording. I dont want to speak for him as even the explanation left some vagueness but perhaps you two can chat? The issue with the 5 credits being a "crap track" doesnt matter much as people like me will fund things that others dont like -- who am I to judge what's silly or the correct way to have fun right? If that was the only concern i would've fully funded it myself by now just to clean up the queue. However, there's an issue of vagueness which i do take seriously. Its not clear if the "5 contiues' only refers to the settings (essentailly dips), or if it means continues allowd. That is to say, does it mean the settings are for 5 continues and you may use all 5, or the settings are for 5 continues but you may use none. This vagueness could result in this track cluttering up the queue forever
