WR NEWS [Sega CD] Jon Piornack - The True Shark of The Sewer

Belated congratulations go out to Jon Piornack who has COMPLETELY DECIMATED the Sega CD Classic gem, Sewer Shark. The video clips were almost as awesome as Jon's fiece fight against the minions of the sewer as he ends up not only completing the game but setting an Inaugural WR of 4,088,394 Points!

    WTG Jon!

Congratulations on this score! This makes me want to break out the old sega cd (a system wayyyyy before it's time, just look at sewer sharks). It has been about 15 years since I beat that game. I have no idea what my high score was, but it wasn't that. So, once again congrats.

I remember this game. I use to play it all the time back when I had my sega cd. On several occasions I've gotten extremely close to the 4,000,000 mark but never had the drive to go past it. I think it's a great game that not many appreciated.

This may be my favorite free game of all time. It's so simple, but so much fun. And, if memory serves me best it came free with the sega cd. If Nintendo is looking at this site for suggestions, add this game to the virtual console (because I can't find my sega cd at the moment).
