    Saturn owners, unite!

I'm not quite a Saturn owner yet, as I haven't bought the one that my girlfriend's father has. But I've already got big plans for the past-doomed console. Gonna throw a modchip in that sucker, and play games late into the night!

So I need to know some really good games to get (download, for the time being), that way I'm well prepared for when I receive my gem.

And who has a Saturn anyway? There's not a lot of tracks on TG, as far as I know. Are the Saturn gamers that sparse?

As with most of my consoles, I've a queue of games for the Saturn I want to get to. Nothing special to recommend from myself, but didn't the Saturn feature as a console in one of David Nelson almost-monthly threads?

    Are you on my radar?
I'd rather be last on every game than throw my time away chasing only one score.

I am in the very same boat on this one, but not so many titles.. hoping to fix that. I know I prize my Akumajo Dracula X, though, like nothing else. Now to find a Japanese Saturn so I don't have to use the PAR cart with the built in 4 meg memory to play it.

Nights into Dreams, Panzer Dragoon II, Sega Rally Championship

IMO, these are the 3 best games for the system...and they just happen to be awesome as well!

I recommend the 3D controller for Nights 8)

Nights is awesome <- definately needs analogue controls
Sega Rally Championship still holds up well today <-also great analogue controls
    Street Fighter Alpha 2
Radiant Silvergun <- absolutely the best shooter of the 20th century for me!
Rayman <- cute platformer, worth every hour I spent on it
    Virtua Fighter 1 & 2 <- great conversions
Virtua Cop 1 & 2 <- also great conversions but you need a lightgun to enjoy them.

I was fortunate enough to get all these games when they came out all those years ago. I still love my Sega Saturn. It's a shame Sega made so many poor marketing decisions in the late 90's, because both the Saturn and the Dreamcast are fantastic machines.
