    Supergun use?

It's been a few months. Is TG going to allow the use of them? The game plays the exact same way it does in a cabinet. It's arcade wiring and power supply in a box.

You're not the only one wondering. I've been waiting for an answer for about 2 years now.

There is no logical reason why it couldn't be used for record purposes.

The only thing that has to be original is the boardset, and in unusual cases the controls.

What will it take for a response and action, Walter?

As long as the game hardware(PCB) is original there shouldn't be a problem as on as you are using the correct controls.

I pm'd Blaine about this a while back, and here's the response I got:

\"I don't think this would be a problem. It's an unusual setup compared to what we normally receive, but the main point of arcade scores is to play them on arcade boardsets, which is what you'd be doing here. Just be sure to -thoroughly- film the hardware and setup so that we can use the tape to defend any potential outside claims about hardware imperfections.\"

It would actually be easier to film that set up than a performance on a complete full size arcade game.

    Hi everyone,

I remember that there has been significant discussion about this issue in past months, and I'd recommend checking in with the current Referee staff for an official verdict on this. They're a great group of folks, and I know they'll chime in soon and will give you the best answer on this issue.

Hope everyone is doing well and making out OK in these difficult times.

    Blaine

As Blaine mentioned, there has been significant discussion on this matter & I have just re-highlighted the discussion internally.

    Are you on my radar?
I'd rather be last on every game than throw my time away chasing only one score.
