    Athelet Kings

Congrats to Jordi Schouteren for surpassing most of my Athlete Kings achievements (PAL systems). It does look like a decimal point has been missed on all of the scores posted, however (NB: Sega Rally Championship's Desert - Complete Race also).

    Are you on my radar?
I'd rather be last on every game than throw my time away chasing only one score.

    Re: Athelet Kings

    Hey Barthax,

Yeah, I must have done something wrong while entering my scores in the database.
The timebased scores and decimal system threw me off...

    The correct scores are...

    100 M dash : 9.66 seconds, not 16 minutes and 6 seconds ;)
    400 M race : 44.45 seconds
    Discus Throw : 77.77 metres
High Jump : 2.16 metres (haha, a high jump of 216 metres? Cooooool!) ;)
    Javelin Throw : 95.63 metres
    Long Jump : 9.35 metres
    Shot Put : 24.33 metres

Sega Rally Championship Desert Full Race 2 minutes 44.66 seconds

Please let me know if I should enter them again in the website, so the wrong scores can be erased?
Or will they be corrected by a referee?

    Re: Athelet Kings

I would suggest e-mailing the referee that verified them since he hardly comes in here to read.

Odds are the times were entered incorrectly into the submission queue to begin with and he didn't catch it. I think most here have done this at some point or another.

    Re: Athelet Kings

The referee actually emailed me already because one of my scores wouldn't play back properly.
That probably drew his attention away from the scores I entered into the queue, most of which were correct.

But the one time-based score and all the scores with decimals I obviously entered incorrectly, for which I apologise.

I just emailed the referee about it.

Yep, like spelling Athlete correctly in the title of the subject.

Contacting referees doesn't always work though.

I'm curious how you denote the decimals and time formats. Do you use commas (,) for decimal point, for example?

For the number "nine thousand eight hundred and seventy six point five-four-three" TG format is: 9,876.543. I understand many European countries would use 9.876,543 for this number.

For time, TG uses HH:MM:SS.mmm (m = milliseconds). So twelve hours, thirty-four minutes, fifty-six seconds and 789 milliseconds would read: 12:34:56.789.

    Re: Athelet Kings

The referee has fixed all the faulty scores I entered <- Thanks! :)

I'm going to save this thread so I can look it up later if I should ever have to enter time-based or decimal scores again.

In European countries nine thousand eight hundred and seventy six point five-four-three would indeed be written as 9.876,543.

One last question though: if TG uses HH:MM:SS.mmm for time-based scores, how do you enter 2 minute 44 seconds 660 milliseconds?

    Would that be 00:02:44:660 ?
    Or 02:44:660 ?
    Or 2:44:660 ?
