I'll play Jr. Pacman till the end of time, how 'bout U

Today I made 559K on Jr. Pacman. That's my highest score yet. I came close to clearing the 17th screen. I got 3 of the 4 Beers on the 17th screen. The last one eluded me as the Red Ghost ran me down, end of game. However, it was my best game yet. Practice, practice, practice is paying off. I used to occasionally surpass 500K. Now, I rarely fail to achieve the 500K mark. I'm finding some ways to get the Ghosts off my butt on the 17th screen. I've been so close to clearing the 17th screen in my best games lately.

I'd like to post pictures but that seems to be forbidden....???

I still have Jr. Pacman Fever!

    Hi

    "and a competition"
Which competition, is that just between the three of them? Do they blog it somewhere?

    Regards

I'm going to start playing this at some point. I don't think I'm ready for the pain just yet. :)

You better start soon. Mastering all seven screens styles takes years!!! Then, you have to learn to play the 16th and beyond screens with the Ghosts way faster than you. It ain't easy!

I'm not sure of that, but I will keep playing it as long as I can still find machines to play on.

I bought my Jr. Pacman back in '85 from a failing Putt-Putt Golf & Games. I can't imagine having to go out and look for one to play in this day and age. My nephew tells there's a bar in west Knoxville that has a machine set-up with a chip that does about 100 games and does Jr. at regular and fast speed. There are no arcades left in town. Machines are lightly sprinkled about bars, movie theaters, and homes at this point.
