Credibility Reconciliation - July 2017
Thank you for the stats, but your voting numbers do not add up (see below):
11,434 + 4 does not equal 11,441
I retired from active adjudication 8 days ago (on 07-18-2017), and I have had zero "open" votes (items in either the queue or the canceled archive) since July 20th.
The Total Votes should match the sum of the Right Votes and Wrong Votes.
They clearly do not.
According to my calculations, TG is missing one correct vote. TG is also reporting two total votes that do not exist (see below):
Our numbers reconciled perfectly on 07-21-2017 at 8:00 AM (EDT), after the original fix was applied.
The obvious question:
What happened between then and now?
I investigated the issue and found that one of the threads
was marked as disputed . The database service was not taking this into consideration while doing the reconciliation.
I have rectified the issue and it wont be repeated .
Just a couple of final questions, and then I shall stop harassing you.
The link you provided is a bizarre hybrid of 2 separate items.
The thread ID ( 143644 ) points to this submission:
Sega Genesis / Sega Mega Drive - Battletoads - NTSC - Points - 999,990 - Mark Cox
Everything else (platform, track, score, and submitter) is associated with this one:
Atari 2600 / VCS - Decathlon - EMU - High Jump - - 2.2 - Marco Sandoval
I voted to accept both submissions, and neither is listed under the Score Dispute Review forum.
To which submission were you actually referring?
We now agree on the number of correct votes, but the number of total votes is inaccurate.
I don't know if the "disputed" submission was included in the original total, so the discrepancy is either 2 or 3 votes.
What is the source of these phantom votes that were never cast?
