    Dispute Evidence / RationaleThe Colour Bomb "booster" is seen, at the start of this submission's game. The track's rules explicitly ban use of "boosters", therefore this submission is invalid.

    The video clearly shows that at the start of level 6 (1:03 remaining in the recording) the player does not select the "Color Bomb" Booster, it is not available to him during the game (you see the Boosters that are available in the upper left during play) and he does not use any of the Boosters that are available to him.

    Vote = No.

    When you come up with an explanation as to how the Colour Bomb "booster" manages to appear in the game, even though it was neither selected nor a reward for any gameplay, I am going to have myself a good belly laugh.

    Color bombs have a random (small) chance of appearing at the start of the level. He didn't select it pre-game, just got really lucky with the layout.

    Ah! I see!

    So, in this case, the Colour Bomb is a "random candy". Or a "lucky candy".

    OK, case closed.

    Although I dont see any evidence of a booster being used, it is strange the level begins that way. This one is interesting and worth further analysis. The colour bomb alone is not an issue, because again, its not a booster. I also cant explain how it shows up at the beginning though. Looks like a good opportunity to learn more of the fine details of candy crush.

    you'll notice two of his runs in the video begin with a color bomb -- this makes me want to discount luck as it invovles getting lucky twice. I did find this though from an unofficial site
    http://candycrush.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Chaser

    which explains ways to make it so that you'll always start your level with a color bomb for the next 6 hours as a reward. This doesnt cost money, and anyone can do it, so its a grey area. Also, I dont know if this method was used, but I'm suspecting whatever method was used is a gray area. Its technically legal as no booster was selected. However, doing something on one level of the game and being rewarded on a different level raises questions. The closest analogy I can think is a super mario bros 3 track for just points on one level in particular, but you use an item from a stash earned earlier to help. Is that ok? I'm gonna say technically yes, but I can see some people arguing its against the spirit of the rules.

    Also worth remembering is its supposed to be far harder to remove a score after its accepted than reject in the first place. If this was still in adjudication I could understand (but disagree) with calls to reject. I'd probably just abstain there. But as its already been accepted, we have to be a lot slower to remove scores. That being the case I think the score should stay. Interesting question, nice chance to learn about candy crush, but not a valid reason to challenge the score.

    I vote no.

    #CandyGate I can't take credit for that tag but I like it. I'll never name names.

    Come off the lawn, Simon. Whoops there's a name...

    Easy NO vote.

    Although it may seem that I am attempting to cast a déjà vu spell, that's not the case. I just wanted it on record that I challenged one submission in which the Colour Bomb appeared at the start of the game, as well as one in which it appeared in the course of the game.

    I now know the method by which the Colour Bomb was put into this game, as well as the fact that certain other advantages can be exploited by players via the same method. I'm reasonably sure it's only a matter of time 'til other "boosters" are similarly smuggled in. Doubtless, they'll also be redesignated, "special candies", and the rules will be made into an even bigger nonsense.

    That said, I read somewhere that tens of millions of people play Candy Crush, every day of their lives. But, here at TG, all Candy Crush amounts to is one guy making tracks for himself, with the occasional other guy adding a second submission. Really puts into perspective how insignificant TG is, in the context of modern gaming, so maybe trying to get these Crush tracks improved was a waste of time & effort.
