Many gamers were kicked out of arcades at close or "escorted off the premises" for "abuse of the system" (i.e., playing too long on one credit).

I'd rather be last on every game than throw my time away chasing only one score.

I was going to submit my MAME score so that people could see how the scoring works but the submit form isn't giving me a place to provide the score. Has anyone run into this on other MAME games?

What happens when you click below "Score/Elapsed Time"?

You should be able to type there.

Yeah, multiple variations are like that. I've created a new post in the Scoreboard Errors thread to request it be fixed: //www.twingalaxies.com/showthre...270#post916270

Well if every score dispute is going to be "Well maybe the stitched multiple games together since it was the 80s" and other comments I've read about "Well with _no_ evidence...." this is all a humongous waste of time. There is a lot of "evidence" from former refs that post here about how stuff got into the database without any proof at all or just running around using magazines and newspapers so now it needs "irrefutable" proof to remove it even when the background and experts on these games should be enough to question it? Honestly if the high score for say Pac-Man was 20 million the SAME excuse would be used for the KS and even DK/etc. You have GOT to move these scores to a new scoreboard if that is going to be how every discussion goes vs telling people to just "make a new track" otherwise what is the point? (Course this is just my opinion and I've said it a few times now ha).

Each dispute is a fact-gathering exercise and the fact is that stitched-together scores were done in the 80s and is documented as being permitted in the rules of the time. We can all vote Yes on these as they crop up but it is ultimately TG's decision and they've decided we have to pick these apart one at a time.

What I'd like to hear from TG in this particular case is: "What legitimate reason could there be for recognizing this score today, when it wasn't recognized in 1983?" (See post #3)

If this score was ever recognized by TG in the 80's, it was removed almost immediately.
