Dispute Evidence / RationaleThis score is impossible. Regardless if it's a type or not, if there's no proof of the original score it should be removed from the database. Under normal circumstances, the track is around 2 minutes long and with flips and rolls you can shorten it to over a minute but 20 seconds can not be achieve under any circumstance.

If ANYONE can prove me otherwise, please state your case here. Logical reasoning should be used here, look at ALL the other non-drag race times for these tracks.

    One additional point to consider:

At the time when Tom Duncan was a referee, he had the ability to enter and edit scores. In my opinion, the "typo" excuse doesn't hold water. If a score typo was entered, these players had the ability to fix it properly. Allowing an incorrect, falsely inflated score to remain in the scoreboard is cheating.

Recent discussions with Kelly Flewin has brought to light that Tom did not enter his own scores in and it was likely they Troy Whelen (?) did.

Didnt you get the latest memo, Brandon ?
"The data entry into the Twin Galaxies database suggests that there was evidence at the time"

This one was on my personal list to dispute. And your right Brandon, its impossible. His time was actually 1:20.51, as I even questioned Tom via PM back then. He admitted to the honest mistake that the 1 minute was missing. (Of course, that PM proof is obviously now long gone and wiped away from the old system). Tom Duncan was actually a good referee and meant well. He was once very active, a work horse, and he was all about the numbers game, while at the same time busy gaming and watching gamer videos. He unfortunately never got around to fixing this.

But hey, like my "Occams Razor" theory with the Genesis - Pac-Mania dispute, why even bother?

I learned something new today. Every past referee was non-human, never made errors, and were programmed to be perfect, whenever they entered (or self entered) scores. (no offense to the good honest past referees here) You know who you are!!!

I concur with this. Both were constantly swipping each others videos back and forth for each other. Troy was also a loyal referee as well, and never encountered problems with either of them personally, whenever they verified my own scores.

I think we owe it to him to at least put the "1" in front of his score. I would rather have that to work towards.

Yeah man I don't care which way this goes as long as I don't have to look at that ridiculous time anymore.

When I hear "He must have been very busy adjudicating and didn't have time to fix his score" ... and he has access to the WORLD's video game record database .... He owed a duty to former, current and future gamers .... and didn't take the 60 seconds to fix it ?

    I can't accept that.

    "YES".

Yeah unfortunately I can't possibly know what transpired for this easy fix to not get... fixed.
