Dispute Evidence / RationaleHello everyone, I am here to dispute Tom Duncan's 15.36 second time on Alien Olympics 100 Qbits Sprint.
I have provided some button mashing records verified here at TG and compared them to the TAS of their respective category.
Note he difference between the TAS records and what was done by a person to show how human vs TAS. It is greater than the difference for Alien Olympics.
I do believe that the world records done by people can be improved, but I doubt a human can match a TAS speed of button mashing.

Track and Field NES 100m Dash
    TAS - 7.20 (https://youtu.be/vtrb6U39X7Q?t=13s)
Hector Rodriguez (proven his speed in other records) - 7.87
    Difference from TAS is .67

International Track and Field (PS1) 100m Dash
    TAS - 6.37 (https://youtu.be/T4F32O-4HCg?t=1m)
Hector Rodriguez (proved his speed in the video) - 7.1 (http://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/160138)
    Difference from TAS is .73

    Mario Party 7 Pokey Pummel
    TAS - 2.15 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2odKt1kaTk)
TG verified a 2.98 seen here with proof of hand movement: http://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/145104
Fastest known time is 2.68 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYlLhnAjiMY)
Difference from TAS is .83 for TG, Difference from TAS is .53 for the fastest known time

    Alien Olympics
Before I show the autofire, I get at 17.14. I do notice that I slowed down a bit, so maybe a mid 16 second time is possible.
    TAS turbo alternating A and B inputs - 15.09
    Tom Duncan - 15.37
    Difference from TAS is .28
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpskDIhaurs

The difference between the TAS here is much smaller than the other TAS vs. human times I showed above. Unless Tom Duncan showed his superior button mashing at a live event or on video somewhere, I believe a turbo controller may have been used.

Interesting evidence. Thank you for providing this.

I wonder if if this is one of the many unwitnessed scores that Tom is accused of self entering?

    I believe it may have.

This game only had an European release, so it is rare for someone in the US to have this game. I understand that Tom may have this game, but the time seems to be above human limits for button mashing.

I do not trust ANY score Duncan has ever done and I know he does not have the finger speed myself or Fly does

From what I have been told by others, Tom Duncan never showed up to any event to prove anything, let alone his finger speed.

Hector Rodriguez had to show his hands on Track & Field games since he's been here
    http://www.twingalaxies.com/showthre...l=1#post879326

Unless this is one of the scores Tom is accused of self entering, he should have showed his hands to prove he is legit whether it be at an event or in his video that was sent to the referee at the time.

Tom's other records on this game are about the same level of button mashing speed that seems to be above what has been proven by other people.

His scores WERE always self entered or by Troy Whalen within HOURS sometimes

If this score was self entered or is proven to be cheated, then I suggest all scores removed and Tom Duncan should be banned forever.

rather than comparing the non-TAS time to the TAS time, I think it would be more helpful to compare the non-TAS mashing speed to the TAS mashing speed, as that would give a much clearer picture of how superhuman this score may or may not be.

To be a little more clear: I'm suggesting you TAS these games yourself in order to determine how many button presses per second are required for each of the records you posted. For a simple button masher that shouldn't be too difficult (might get a little tedious though)
