Day 17 of 17. Score submissions for Game 7 Lock ‘N Chase is now closed.

The final scoreboard standings are below ...

40K + was a masterly effort … DaLar, camaro, SectionZ, creech, RMacauley and Fire_Power all know how to lock ‘n chase, that’s for sure. They finish 4th to 9th place respectively in a very tricky game.

What a finish in the last 7 hours … we had 3 lead changes … plenty of smack, no dinner and work … and terencew finishes in a great 3rd place with 65K.
Barra finishes in a brilliant 2nd place just 240 points behind the winner. An extra money bag here or there would have made a big difference.

Congratulations to Max Haraske for winning Game 7 with a superb and masterly locking of doors … grand theft of coins and treasure … and no prison sentence with a top score of 67,420. A close finish to a magical game.

Donkey Kong 3 and Tutankham are the last 2 games in play. Make your scores count and put in the effort to earn valuable points, plus credence toward your ability.
    Thanks terencew thanked this post

Haha, I'm sorry I missed it! Certainly wasn't intentional - due to things being extremely busy in real life, I hadn't even logged on to TG in almost 2 months until last night...despite @OOO being good enough to tag me (thanks mate), I didn't know this game had been added, otherwise I would have given it a go.

As for tips, hmm...from a points-scoring perspective, I'd say try to pick up the coins on the outer lanes of the maze first during each of the 4 bonus cycles (500, 1000, 2000, 4000) - when the cycle is almost over, move to the inner lanes to pick up the last few coins that trigger the bonus, as it will be easier to pick up (since it disappears quickly). From a survival perspective, don't be shy about closing those doors! I'd suggest only having one closed at a time unless absolutely necessary, that way you have a backup ready to go should you work yourself in to another jam.

Probably nothing that common sense didn't already tell you guys after having played a few games, but that's all I can come up with...oh yeah, and the age-old favorites - patience and practice :)

My strategy was more about patterns and never using the gates, works pretty well but not that efficient since you can get a few 2k traps in one round if you’re good enough

Yep, patterns are a way to go too, although I find they are harder to pull off compared to games like Pac-Man. Plus, they don't always hold up depending on what happens during the level (i.e. a death changes everything, even for subsequent levels).
