Hopefully the stream is higher quality this time, I have it outputting at 720p/60, directly from PS4. (Looking at it directly on Twitch, it looks pretty clear)

After the fish is caught, I click "share" to get the screenshot also attached, which bugs the screen (PS4 does not like streaming).
Can't wait to see how heavy these guys get.

This one looks bigger than that last puny 17.7 pounder you caught.

    Nice screen shot.

    Haha! True!
Is that you in the photo? IRL, I've only done lake/stream fishing.

Haha. No it's not me. Evidently this is the largest catfish ever caught (as per my fast, and hardly extensive web search).

Can a 1oz difference be attributed to a rounding error? Time to cast some more. Accepted but keep fishing!

I think we were fishing at the same time! I had to wait a bit before uploading because my wife wanted to watch When Good Ghouls Go Bad, awesome cheesy Christoper Lloyd movie. My PSN is mutilations. Add me!

It would be best to boot up the game then start the recording so we know it's you playing from your psn. I don't know how much it matters but it would make adjudicating safer. :)

I can't find a way to show the PSN home screen when streaming. The blue screen at the end of Matt's recording with the hopping icons is exclusive to PSN and confirms that this is indeed a PS stream. This is perfectly acceptable in my view.

A user can only start streaming when in a game. If a user dumps out into the PS main screen while streaming you'll get the hopping blue screen.

So a user is left with a few options really (when recording):

    1. Record in lesser quality using a separate camera
    2. Record in better quality using PS and hope people know that the hopping blue screen reflects PS use
    3. Record both (a hassle and unnecessary in my view)
@MyOwnWorstEnemy may have another solution, though I suspect his method of recording is more involved and more costly. I know he wrote how he approaches recording from PS at some point but I can't find his notes to link to it.

I know if anything you two are the ones that will better help me understand what to look for when someone is streaming. As someone who never direct captures unless it's a mobile, I'm kinda ignorant with the nuances of live streaming. Sometimes I wish I could but my internet sucks too bad.
