Are PS1 games normally acceptable on PS3?

Good call, Evan. I thought any backwards compatibility is allowed. I went back through old threads where the question has come up, and the consensus seems to be: only if the platform being played on contains the same hardware as the original platform. Example: early PS3's with PS2 hardware are accepted for PS2 submissions. Xbox360 play on Xbox One, however, not accepted, because it is software emulation.

I'm fairly certain my PS3 is not one of the early ones, as it was not backwards compatible until the all-encompassing update came along that made all (or most) PS3's backwards compatible.

So, please reject this. I have re-performed on PS1, which after much troubleshooting, I have determined needs a new laser assembly, but is working for the time being.

Cheers man, rejected it is then.

To be honest, make a new track: arcade mode, hardest difficulty and 99 second rounds. Not sure what someone was thinking with this one.

Well, having no timer does change the dynamic a bit
And frankly having played it for 10 or 20 runs now, having no timer seems a bit more conducive to this version. Kinda hard to explain but the AI is all over the place. Sometimes its like the arcade AI, sometimes nothing like it. Sometimes it escalates for a round almost like super turbo AI - no spare frames, once the AI gets an in, the round is over quickly. Plus it seems easier to dizzy. "Big" 2 hit combos dizzy more regularly. But ultimately there's nobody competing on this title, no need to make a whole new track, imho.
