Oh, yeah, also this long-standing convention of naming helps with the INP archive: https://www.twingalaxies.com/twin-galaxies/wall/8822/inp-archive-available/page/1

Still occasionally working on that lot: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aWt7_0qMasekz4EJdSgs2XmyZorMXpftEznOHQETeUo/edit?usp=sharing

I'm surprised to hear you say this. There are multiple reasons the re-naming makes it easier for me. Though I'm just doing the shallow lame-o version of it, yet probably easier to understand.

If it makes things easier for you guys, by all means, let's keep the tradition alive. Maybe, one day, I'll get into the archiving side of things, and then I'll see how useful it really is

The track is owned by Twin Galaxies and has a single score on the track from 2004, so no footage is available to evaluate. The track's title does indicate the player must use the Police Force table (two tables exist in the game).

    The existing rules are:

"This game has no settings for the player to select, therefore no specific rules apply. Please use default settings. "

There are no defaults to the game as the player has to make a conscious choice to begin the game by either choosing "A" for "EASY GAME" or by choosing "B" for "HARD GAME" (capitalisation is game's depiction). As the score comes from the "every home console game can be played on Easy" days of Twin Galaxies, could TG see their way to explicitly adding "Easy Game" to either the track title or the rules, please.

    Pinball Jam: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/pinball-jam/atari-lynx/police-force/

The rules have been updated, but now they read, "This game has no settings for the player to select, therefore no specific rules apply. Please use default settings.
EASY GAME or HARD GAME settings may be used (player's choice)"

This still does not make sense and conflicts with itself.

The part that says, "This game has no settings for the player to select, therefore no specific rules apply. Please use default settings." should be removed.

    Hi,

I found several tracks on Cruis'n USA which still show the "Grandfathered" and "DO NOT SUBMIT" notices: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/cruisn-usa/nintendo-64/?track=Grandfathered . I had thought these were all supposed to have been "re-opened" for TGSAP. Should the notices be removed?

All tracks are open. The notices have remained untouched. It’s probably best to keep it that way.

Now there is an erroneous entry for Pinball Jam on PC:

This title does exist for PC, and the entry should be deleted.

Meanwhile the "J" in the Lynx title is now in lowercase and should be capitalized.

Is it possible to edit the displayed track title to remove "DO NOT SUBMIT!" portion of the title? I can see the value in keeping the "Grandfathered" part of the title to maintain linkages to previous forum discussions around the decision of the previous ownership era to close certain tracks, but the explicit instruction "do not submit" has caused confusion with at least two new TG members who asked about why they couldn't submit, and then were told that they could in fact submit despite the title statement.

although it seems the software lacks true versioning, i've noticed a few tracks had manaly cut and paste "old" rules section and new rules. perhaps this would achieve what you want there? remove it, word it properly BUT immediately under have a note with the old wording.

this is always important if for no other reason than people can AND HAVE made mistakes on new wording (whoever it was that changed all default atari tracks to 1b cough cough) so a record of the old wording is needed.

You will see here I submitted a performance on the Sega game RoadBlasters and if you look at the ESI on the side of the page you'll see my ESI has not been calculated yet:
    https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/roadblasters/sega-genesis-sega-mega-drive/ntsc-points/
After that gets accepted mine and everyone else on that leaderboard will have our ESI recalculated, giving me about 1 ESI point and everyone above me an additional ESI point.

OK, thats all fine, thats how this works in my experience, but I was looking at the Sega Genesis Tetris leaderboard and noticed on the ESI chart on the lefthand side of the page that user Simon Laroche has already been given 4.54 ESI when his submission hasnt been accepted yet, and very well may not be accepted.
    https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/tetris/sega-genesis-sega-mega-drive
I went to his page to see if the ESI had yet been added to his ESI totals, and indeed it has
    https://www.twingalaxies.com/simon
He has a total of 8.10 ESI, 3.56 of which came from Tetris on Phillips CDI, which has been accepted, but the other 4.54 ESI comes from his Sega Tetris submission, which has NOT been accepted, and may not be.

    Greetings @admin staff

I have come across another instance of this happening except its a number of submissions rather than just one.
This gamer has multiple submissions for this game and he has been given the ESI before any of them have been accepted.
    https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/virtual-pinball/sega-genesis-sega-mega-drive/

Look at the ESI chart on the left hand side and look at his submissions.
Something else that seems to be wrong here is these submissions of his are beating some of his earlier submissions, and the earlier submissions have already disappeared as if his newer ones have already been accepted, yet they haven't. Normally this doesnt happen until the newer submission is accepted.
Its treating these submissions as if theyre already accpted when they have NOT been accepted, and if Ive noticed this in the few Ive seen Im sure its more prevalent than just these few Ive caught.

Is it necessary to have two alerts for the same thing?

Also on first glance, the top alert is worded in a way that makes you think it is Lauren's submission that is being disputed, not Albert's.

I did notice that. It is strange.

The full name of the "Lilo & Stitch" game currently on the PC platform is "Lilo & Stitch Pinball". Other Lilo & Stitch games do exist. https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/lilo-stitch/pc/ The legacy scores, and shortened name, can be confirmed as having been imported from the now-defunct pcpinball.org site (archived at archive.org: https://web.archive.org/web/20080929134514/http://www.pcpinball.com/hiscores/list.phtml?pinball_id=85 ).

    Hi,

@Rogerpoco just highlighted a missing thread on one of his subs which I've tracked back to this original Report Error posting of mine. Threads 198800 through 198806 remain missing.

    Roger's mention: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/246887-PlayStation-4-Steep-Pillow-Field-Ferwallspitze-(Points)-4-989

My original submission: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthr...565-Andrew-Mee when the track was "Backcountry Freestyle - Pillow Fields (points)" (it was later renamed to its current form).

    Hi,

Could the following track be moved to the correct game name, please:

    https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/gran-turimso/playstation

The game is "Gran Turismo", not "Gran Turimso". :)

    Thanks.

    Added "Breakthru!" on a new platform (PS1) : https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/247113-PlayStation-BreakThru!-NTSC-Points / https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/breakthru/playstation

And it broke itself and the existing Breakthru! games:

    https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/breakthru/sega-saturn

    https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/breakthru/super-nintendo-entertainment-system

I brought this up when it broke the first time when adding the game for Saturn. I guess root cause was never actually fixed.

This track only allows for whole number input, but the game also measures tenths, hundredths, and thousandths on this track, if that could be adjusted?

    Thanks!

I imagine this one will have the same problem, tho it has no scores on it yet.
