This submission was accepted but disappeared from the track leaderboard. I think this was due to an erroneous submission with a lower time, being rejected after the correct time was accepted. Could you please restore the accepted submission back to the leaderboard?

    Game "Cabal" (MAME)
    the rules state:
    Bonus Life: 20K then 50K....
But there is no such option in the romset DIP switches.
Can someone check and correct the rules?
    Thank you.

Um, it's not a dollar amount either: they're all measured in MPH.

The following track was accidently marked 'Timed-Highest is best' rather than 'Time- Lowest is best' as it should be.

In my view there is a bit of a difference between 'the TG community' and the leaderboards. Just because someone's name is on the leaderboards doesn't make them a part of the community, and likewise someone can be a TG community member without having their name on the leaderboards. I believe Datagod did this for a number of years if I'm not mistaken.

Many people, maybe even the majority of people, who come to TG do so with no intention of becoming a TG community member. They simply want to enter their high score on a game they're particularly good at and then be on their way, never interacting with the site at all, possibly never visiting the site again except to maybe check up and see if their record was beaten.
Then on the other hand there are us 'regulars', those of us who interact with the website by voting, commenting, posting, submitting etc, we are 'The TG Community'. Not to say it's exclusive to anyone, there are of course a number of silent community members who dont necessarily comment and post and stuff. It's all to varying degrees.

The people who want to use the social media aspects of this website should expect to have their speech regulated, but as the leaderboards go I just dont think someone should be barred from submitting unless they've cheated or abused the submission system in some way.

"To keep a membership at TG, members must stay within the TG TOS. Its that simple"
Thats really the bottom line, I understand that and more just wanted to offer some food for thought rather than trying to challenge the status quo per say.

This brings the questions of what does it mean to have a TG World Record then? What does it mean to be a TG community member?

One possible implication of @Excelliron 's statement is that perhaps the priority of a physical achievement should be considered more important than the context of conduct, behavior or perception of the achiever themselves. If so, does that suggest that's all TG is, and ever will be, is an ever growing list of numbers? The numbers are what's important?

Is that the meaning of being a member of the TG community? A Member is someone with a number on the TG list and no other considerations?

If the number is all that matters, then why celebrate and promote the person that achieved it? Under that context, TG should just celebrate the numbers.

Whatever the perception was of TG in the past, we can tell you that the forward going perception of what it means to hold an achievement at TG today is not just about the numbers. It is also about conduct, sportsmanship, and integrity.

Celebrated TG achievers should help represent to the public the spirit and desire for fair competition, the intention of being part of a welcoming community, and the goal of inclusion for all who seek to participate in the activity of playing video games in pursuit of achievement and recognition.

These intentions are all reflected in the Twin Galaxies Terms of Service that all members must agree to in order to participate here and if someone chooses to not adhere to the rules of course that is rightfully their choice - and that choice allows them to conduct themselves elsewhere and supply their numbers elsewhere. Twin Galaxies is more than just lists of numbers on a scoreboard.

Being a TG member is not a right - it is a privilege and it matters. There are many community members who have contributed so much to TG over the years for it to be the privilege it is today. TG itself is going to continue to work more and more to reflect into the public the value of the past, present and future contributions from the community.

The "benefit" of being a TG member will continue to expand. That expansion is not really driven from more numbers added to a list. It's driven more by a healthy, non-toxic, growing community of people interacting with a positive mindset.

To keep a membership at TG, members must stay within the TG TOS. Its that simple.

My Rampage 2 track got funded for PS1. Its on the PS1 leaderboards. The link even has the "playstation" suffix, but when its clicked it takes you to the gameboy/gameboy color track, and there's no option in the drop down menu to switch it to PS1.

Minor typo in the title of https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=210265 - the word "of" should be "to". Could this be changed, please:

    Before;

Undercover - The Briefcase - Get yourself of Maupin's. [Time]

    After:

Undercover - The Briefcase - Get yourself to Maupin's. [Time]

For the Atari Invaders game on Atari 8-bit there are two tracks which have the same rules to use the defaults. One of the tracks is empty so is a candidate for deletion: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/atari-invaders/atari-400-800-xl-xe/
