I've discovered there's more detail to some tables on Pinball FX 3 than at first I realised. Could the following amendments be made (just inserting " - Arcade Setup", please:

Change from: Funhouse - Classic SIngle Player [Points] to:

Funhouse - Classic SIngle Player - Arcade Setup [Points]

Change from Dr. Dude and his Excellent Ray - Classic SIngle Player [Points] to:

Change from Cirqus Voltaire - Classic SIngle Player [Points] to:

Hi!

I get this message when I try to create a new track:

All fields are filled in. What am I missing? I created tracks before without any issues.

Clicking either button serves no visual indication that they did anything. However, on the Track tab underneath the Picture will be the change: the "Created Track" drop-down will either still be hidden (Create Track) or be visible (Create Deritivate Track). It's a bit backwards...

Follow up on my own question: you can't have duplicate descriptions which is really strange as you are supposed to write something like "Points" for every track...

I just managed to create this track though:

Vectrex - Raid Over Vectrexia! - Highest points (twingalaxies.com)

as you can see I wrote "Highest points" instead of just "Points" (mostly to test). This stupid duplicate check of the the description field should be fixed.

Just stumbled on Diamond Mine on the scoreboard for Atari 8-bit: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/diamond-mine/atari-400-800-xl-xe . There's three tracks which duplicate the same "default settings" rules.

I am unable to create Derivative tracks due to a change in behaviour of the form. Selecting Create Derivative Track button shows a form with unpopulated lists for Platforms and Games (they're empty). Selecting the original track does not populate those lists either.

The game is always Total Eclipse? The Game Name drop-down has no other content.

The Platform drop-down is populated and selecting a previous track does update the Platform. Unfortunately there's only ever Total Eclipse for the game.

I've had a chance to look at the create derivative functionality some more & there's some definite issues beyond my initial checks.

On first load, the Game drop-down list is populated with some (seemingly) random game selection of five games. Total Eclipse is the first one in the list.

On first load, if I select the Platform first, the game list's drop-down gets updated to those tracks which match that platform but Total Eclipse is still the game. Also the Track Title drop-down gets limited.

On first load, if I select the Track Title first, the Platform is updated but the game list is not updated.

After the first choice, if I then choose the Game from the drop-down, the first original track of this game is selected in the Track Title drop-down but the Track Title list is emptied of all other tracks.. The Game drop-down list will have each game listed for as many original tracks as I've created for the game. If I select any of those options from the drop-down, the Track Title list is updated to the first original track of that game and the Track Title drop-down is emptied of all other tracks.

I worked out that I must select items in the order of Platorm, then Game then Track Title in order to get the drop-downs to correct values. Unfortunately, that Total Eclipse problem has created all the new Max Match tracks as a brand new game on the Android platform:

I am having a similar problem as above with

where my submission shows up in the history but not on the leaderboard.

"RULES" can probably just be deleted from this. Both tracks have the same wording:

Choosing the Track Title resets the Game drop-down, I figured out. So the order I'm working with is Platform, Game, Track Title and then Game again.

Found a typo of mine on Drive: San Francisco for Xbox 360. The track "Side-Tracked" I've put "Shoe-Tracked": https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=248779

Could track title be changed from:

Challenge - Shoe-Tracked [Time]

to:

Challenge - Side-Tracked [Time]

Thanks. :D

Could the rules for the 1941: Counter Attack's tracks be updated, please. The rules were written for 0.106 in which the Difficulty label is incorrect:

In 0.148 this setting was still 4 (Normal):

<dipswitch name="Difficulty" tag="DSWB" mask="7">
<dipvalue name="1 (Easiest)" value="7"/>
<dipvalue name="2" value="6"/>
<dipvalue name="3" value="5"/>
<dipvalue name="4 (Normal)" value="4" default="yes"/>
<dipvalue name="5" value="3"/>
<dipvalue name="6" value="2"/>
<dipvalue name="7" value="1"/>
<dipvalue name="8 (Hardest)" value="0"/>
</dipswitch>
In subsequent MAME versions, the fourth setting is 3 (normal):

<dipswitch name="Difficulty" tag="DSWB" mask="7">
<diplocation name="SW(B)" number="1"/>
<diplocation name="SW(B)" number="2"/>
<diplocation name="SW(B)" number="3"/>
<dipvalue name="0 (Easiest)" value="7"/>
<dipvalue name="1" value="6"/>
<dipvalue name="2" value="5"/>
<dipvalue name="3 (Normal)" value="4" default="yes"/>
<dipvalue name="4" value="3"/>
<dipvalue name="5" value="2"/>
<dipvalue name="6" value="1"/>
<dipvalue name="7 (Hardest)" value="0"/>
</dipswitch>

This has caused confusion for at least one submission: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/250967-M-A-M-E-1941-Counter-Attack-World-Points-Two-Player-Team-312-800?p=1171344#post1171344

Could the difficulty setting of both the following tracks be updated to reflect the new knowledge, please:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/1941-counter-attack-world/mame/points-single-player-only/page/1

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/1941-counter-attack-world/mame/points-two-player-team/page/1

The current difficulty line reads:
Difficulty: 4 [Normal]

Could this be updated two lines reading:

Difficulty: 3 [Normal]

(Note: prior to 0.149 the difficulty setting was incorrectly labeled "4 (Normal)".)

For the pair of Batsugun MAME tracks on the scoreboard, can the Difficulty be updated to reflect the changes in MAME, please.

Rules, Points [1 Player Only]: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=11914
Rules, Points [2 Player Team]: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=11915

The rules currently indicate a single line for the difficulty:

Difficulty: Medium

Could this be updated to the following pair of lines:

Difficulty: Normal

(Note: prior to 0.142, the Difficulty was labeled "Medium".)

A second change for this same pair of tracks is the Territory setting which MAME removed in 0.148 and relabeled before that as Region.

The rules currently indicate a single line for the Territory:

Territory: Europe

Could this be updated to reflect the change:

Territory/Region: Europe. Note this setting was removed in MAME 0.148 and is no longer applicable.

Could the Vimana tracks on MAME be updated, please. Two changes to reflect the updates within MAME versions.

Points [Single Player Only]: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=120558
Points [Two Player Team]: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=120559

Could the Difficulty be changed which currently reads:

Difficulty: Medium

Replaced with:

Difficulty: Normal (Note: prior to 0.144 this was Difficulty: Medium)

Could the Bonus Life line be updated with two lines. It currently reads:

Bonus Life: 70K and 200K

Replaced with the two lines:

Bonus Life: 70K 270K 200K+

(Note: prior to 0.137 this Bonus Life setting was incorrectly labeled 70K and 200K.)

Thanks. :)
