There are two games for Tron on MAME sitting on the scoreboard & the separation makes sense. Some TLC will help for newer versions of MAME thanks to a change back in 0.128u4.

- 0.128u4: Tim Lindquist added dates to Tron revisions. Swapped tron/tron2 now that we know tron2 is the later version. Changed clone (set 2) to parent 'Tron (8/9)', 'Tron (set 1)' to clone 'Tron (6/25)', 'Tron (set 3)' to 'Tron (6/17)' and 'Tron (set 4)' to 'Tron (6/15)'. Renamed (tron) to (tron2) and (tron2) to (tron).

Tron [set 1]

TG Game Entry: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/tron-set-1/mame
Rules, Points: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=7885

Could the game name be changed to "Tron (6/25)" as it hasn't been set 1 since 0.128. The rules are a little out of date (0.170) but contain the most recent ROM set change already so no change proposed to the rules.

Tron

TG Game Entry: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/tron/mame
Rules, Highest Score: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=207134

Could the game name be changed to "Tron (8/9)". Additionally, can the rules be updated to reflect the ROM set change.

Before:

ROM: tron2

After:

ROM Set:

0.106-0.128: tron2 - "Tron (set 2)"
0.128u4-0.212: tron - "Tron (8/9)"

Thanks. :D

Could the game "Strider 2 (USA 991213)" on MAME be update to reflect a ROM set change in MAME's history, please.

- 0.198: Nomax, Corrado Tomaselli, f205v and The Dumping Union added Strider 2 (Euro 991213). Renamed (strider2) to (strider2u).

Could the game "Speed Ball" on MAME be updated to reflect changes in MAME history, please.

- 0.220: Jorge Silva added Speed Ball (set 1). Note: Seems to have a more complete hidden test mode, with a 'hard test' that's not enabled in the alternate Speed Ball rom set. Redump confirmed that rom 4.u48 in (set 1) matches alternate [Osso]. Changed Speed Ball to clone 'Speed Ball (set 2)'. Renamed (speedbal) to (speedbala).

TG Game Entry: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/speed-ball/mame/
Rules, Points: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=10227

Could the game name be updated to "Speed Ball (set 2)" to better distinguish it from the alternative. Could the rules be updated to reflect the ROM set change also.

Before:

ROMSet: SpeedBal

After:

ROM Set:

0.106-0.219: speedbal - "Speed Ball"
0.220-0.255: speedbala - "Speed Ball (set 2)"

Thanks. :D

Could the game "Slap Shot (Japan)" be updated to reflect changes in MAME's history, please.

- 0.223: Jorge Silva added Slap Shot (Ver 3.0 O). Changed 'Slap Shot (Japan)' to clone 'Slap Shot (Ver 2.2 J)'. Renamed (slapshot) to (slapshotj).

TG Game Entry: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/slap-shot-japan/mame
Rules, Points: https://www.twingalaxies.com/scores.php?scores=110675

Could the game name be updated to "Slap Shot (Ver 2.2 J)" to better distinguish it from alternatives. Could the rules be updated to reflect a change in ROM set, also.

Before:

ROMSet: SlapShot

After:

ROM Set:

0.106-0.222: slapshot - "Slap Shot (Japan)"
0.223-0.255: slapshotj - "Slap Shot (Ver 2.2 J)"

Thanks. :D

Unrelated note: I have not found any renames in 0.257 which have an impact on the scoreboard. :)

The track at https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/keyboard-killers/pc/standart-levels-zxc-normal-accuracy/ has an accepted score which does not appear on the leaderboard.

Hey Admin, no error to report, just wanted to say thanks for all the fixes. I noticed the "and # number of players" thing got fixed when a high number of people 'like' a post or comment. Appreciate the work!

We want to verify the new profile on Twin Galaxies. HAL-LOZ-CHZ(For three-player games). Profile is established. Confirmed by email. After entering the phone number (+420739155875), no text message with pin will come. It's the fourth day we've been trying... Please help. Thank you

What is the max upload size for non-video files? I'm trying to upload a ZIP file as additional proof for one of my records but it just fails to upload with no error.

The file size is 507MB

why don’t you use the existing multiplayer function that TG worked so hard on creating?

I see the standard privacy policy is located here: https://www.twingalaxies.com/wiki_index.php?title=Policy:Twin-Galaxies-Privacy-Policy&

But I don't have permission to view the EU privacy policy located here:

I have multiple citizenships, and one of them is an EU country. Please fix.

The link you have provided above for the "EU privacy policy" is a link that attempts to edit the policy section, so that link will not work for you.

The EU privacy policy section is simply located within the total privacy policy at the top link. All you need to do is scroll down to get to the section.

There are two prefix types in Europe (and I presume elsewhere). Numbers that begin with a single 0 are local (national) numbers: 07391. When changing these to an International type the two types are the local instruction or the international notation:

- Local instructions for Europe are typically double-0 prefixed to go international or "outside" the nation grid, so 07391 becomes 007391 from outside the national grid.

- International notation replaces the 0 prefix with the country code: 07391 becomes +427391 . This notation allows international interpretation which ensures that national grids can replace the country code with their local international dialing prefix.

For International communication, always best to use the International notation. :)

All of the tracks for this game have the same wildly generic rule of "Use of continues not allowed. Use of cheats not allowed."

Many of these games have different modes or difficulty settings that render the existing rules insufficient.

@Bishop Black do you have any interest or input on mirroring the rules for all the tracks to their console equivalents, or should we as a community attempt to fix this?

@Hal1973

After the upload video section there is an Additional Participants tab where you can enter the names of the participants.

This is how it will be displayed

Hope this helps :)
