Is it happening with every kind of picture you attempt, no matter what?

I think one temporary hack around the issue may be to make your post without the image, then EDIT your post and insert the image - the editors are different under the circumstance and if the pop-up editor is failing for some reason, the site editor may not exhibit the same problem (I'm just theorizing here) - you may want to give it a try. If it works let us know so that we can narrow down the cause of this issue if possible.

That would ruin the competition for the game. Please add the following line to the 8 tracks for the game:

"No glitch laps. Must complete the lap in its entirety."

Thanks!

To make a rule change to a leaderboard that has adjudicated submissions on it, ALL leaderboard rank holders and pending submission players must agree on the rule change - and all must be current registered verified members of Twin Galaxies.

Due to a current lack of formal process for this, for now, please have all of the participants on the leaderboards you want the rule changed on to "Thank" or "like" this response, and I will make the change.

There's what looks to be a test submission made on https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/3d-ultra-pinball/pc/colony/ in MyOwnWorstEnemy's account for 12 points which links to an entirely different submission.

The track "Littlebig Finale" should be named "Little Big Finale":

Please change the name from "Parachute Jump" to just "Parachute" on this track: https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/parachute-jump/game-watch-lcd-gaming/

I can't change the name myself, not sure why.

Thanks!

There seems to be an error regarding my world records that I hold. It shows only 3, but I hold 4. Breakout Atari 2600, Galaga Atari 7800, Centipede Atari 7800 and Apple OS, a game called 1010!

Breakout is no longer counted because you have the only score. You have to have beaten someone else for it to count. This change to the calculations occurred in March of last year.

Read about it here: https://www.twingalaxies.com/twin-galaxies/wall/12770/tg-world-record-and-achievement-calculation-update

What is the maximum resolution for a game image? I often end up with this:

It would be sweet if the system could scale it down if the resolution is too high. Or maybe a warning?

There is a strange issue with "Competition Golf Final Round" in MAME

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/competition-golf-final-round-revision-3/mame/lowest-score/

Rules say "The ENTIRE 9 Holes must be completed and the entire game must be recorded or your attempt will be instantly disqualified. You may freely continue as necessary" but there is no continue. If you get a bogey you're disqualified and Game Over. So I'm wondering how that score of 28 came up. It would be a good idea to fix the rules so someone can upload a score there.

If the game prevents you from completing the nine holes, then your attempt has failed the first rule. I've just found the INP in the TG INP Archive and played it back: the existing score did not get a bogey.

Thanks, so I played that inp too. The player finished all 9 holes and his score is -8 (eight shots under par). For some inexplicable reason 28 has been written as the score. When I saw it I thought it was 28 shots over par, this can be done with continue. So a mod needs to delete the line "You are free to continue as long as needed" from the Rules as the game does not allow to continue, and fix the player's score to -8.

The score is correct: rather than Par it is the number of strokes being measured & the player used 28 strokes for the attempt. There is another INP in the archive & that player used 33 strokes: their score is in the old TG scoreboard too confirming it was normal for Stroke Play not Par.

Based on your description, I can see how the rule seems at odds with the game but there may be another nuance (but in likelihood this was just a copy & paste rule from other golf games).

In golf games we measure the score as under or over par. Well, you counted 28 shots, not an ordinary thing. If this is how the score is calculated here, then it should be written in the Rules.

There was a time the scoreboard could not handle negative numbers so stroke play scoring was the norm. I am curious: did you believe the score was 28 over Par? I doubt there is a will to go changing the scores on the scoreboard because of an ethos issue but I agree some clarity would be worthwhile.
