[what's going on here?? my replay was deleted twice @admin staff are you doing this??]

i didnt understand what you were saying the first few times but then i remembered you use a translator that seems to cause confusion. in english "cry foul" , "cry" means "bring up" and "foul" means "unfair treatment" of course "cry" can also mean "whimper" and "fowl" (so its spelled different but maybe the didnt matter?) can mean bird.

maybe you thinkg your'e saying "if you wanna see a bird look into the mirror" but what the translator has you saying is "if you wanna see unfair play look in the mirror".

it may help to post in your native language where you know for sure you're posting exactly what you mean, and then everyone else has a better chance of using a translator that will tell us what you meant.

The translator is just a tool, it won't really help you if you don't know the language. The point is that someone allows Desidious to insult me and then deletes my fair answer!

I don't believe anyone was confused.

I just found out that a submission without video was approved

https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/284460

It takes me a lot of time to make and upload videos, so can I also submit without a video?

video was uploaded in the comments. You cant exacty do the same thing as the program itself has been updated to force an uploaded video, but sure if you upload the wrong video you too can upload the right video in the comments. As long as the video proof is in the thread thats fine. now, just as that person did have to upload the video to get accetped, you too will have to make and upload the video but sure, it doesnt have to be uploaded into the very first comment.

In this particular thread the OP confirmed the video in the fourth post. https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/284460-M-A-M-E-Super-Pang-World-900914-Panic-Mode-1-Player-Points-2-336-350?p=1249800&viewfull=1#post1249800 . I'm not comfortable with the practice and did not vote. However, I can see the logic of why it gets accepted in MAME subs and is a flaw/loophole in the video requirement for MAME.

I strongly recommend against trying this... If your videos are very large, use a video editor* to re-encode the video.

* Like Avidemux or Handbrake - both popular choices. VLC has the option and many others programs exist. OBS even has the feature to "play" a video file so you can play the one while recording it to another.

The rules for the following tracks need to be updated with a clarification:

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/tutankham-arcade/atari-2600-vcs/emu-standard/page/1

https://www.twingalaxies.com/game/tutankham-arcade/atari-2600-vcs/ntsc-standard/page/1

One line in the ruleset in both tracks currently states:

" MAPS must be set to ALL (default)"

Please update it to reflect the ROM version differences:

"DEMO version: MAPS can be set to ALL or ARCADE

FULL version: MAPS must be set to ARCADE"

Thank you!
