I think the US Dollar price is $99. Cheaper but I'd expect after the mini is released you'll be able to pick up an original and bunch of games for far less. :D

Ummm yeah definitely. PSX is still so cheap, and easy to find. Whatever. I'm sure they'll sell enough to make it worth it for them.

I was never a huge fan on the psx. def gonna pass on this.

Its MORE than the NES and it doesn't even come with the power supply or the HDMI cord? Are they MAD?

  6. bensweeneyonbass's Avatar

Yes. They are mad. And if it only has 20 games they'd better be rare AF.

wooow this is a huge load of crap. I LOVE the PSX, I own 3, but this is just laughable.

The reset button suspends games and the open button changes virtual discs?. I think the select button on the controller adjusts the console clock and the start button takes you to the final stage of every game.

This is as terrible as the music they chose for the ad.

As crummy as that is, Nintendo's 3DS line now does not come with a power supply either.

One more redundant, unnecesary platform for TG.

I get that these make money but I really wish gamers would stop rewarding gaming companies for this kind of behavior by buying them.

I like Capcom's latest approach of Street Fighter and Beat em up bundles so much more. Make things digital, get the product into the hands of gamers, don't feed the scalpers.

This is just the evolution of the retro game bundle & any re-release for a new platform is doing the exact same behaviour. I haven't checked but what's the Capcom approach you're referring to?

Amstrad were making some of the ZX Spectrum games library "digitally available" back in 2002 with the Amstrad eMailer: http://www.sinclairlair.co.uk/amstrad_emailer.htm :P

    This sort stuff for collectors:

    https://www.e-capcom.com/sp/capcombeltactioncollection/

    https://www.e-capcom.com/shop/g/gC00002647/

Then release it digitally for the majority of people who just want to play.

thats an interesting point. as much as i'm not one to tell someone how to have fun, i do agree things become a mess to navigate through. i've suggested before and well suggest again we need categories for consoles. neaten stuff up. Have a "nes category" with the sub categories nes mini, real nes, nes emu, and whatever else the future may bring

Ooh, especially if there were ways to get "combined" views. It wouldn't be the default option, but being able to see how scores/times/etc compare between the same track on different but related platforms would be a great option.
