    "Me too!"

Ha, this time just easing yur mind a bit, it's happening to me too, I thought it was my PC, it crashed yesterday.

Must be a site gremlin, surely will sort out.

    :)

Aye, I'm sure it'll get sorted but sometimes the devs' attention is elsewhere so making sure "it's included". :)

Some additional issue due to this: the visit to the page is still registered in the forum system & therefore the User Panel knocks off any subscribed pages that would otherwise be outstanding: https://www.twingalaxies.com/usercp.php

After a big windstorm here yesterday, neither my internet, nor my cell is working the way it should, so its actually helpful to know that this particular issue isn't just me. Outside I guess to go check on the antenna, and hope I haven't landed in Oz

Has anyone told Twin Galaxies about this radical new software development concept called "testing your changes"? It's actually surprisingly useful, allowing you not to break your entire site when you make a change.

Absolutely the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard!!! I suppose when you get your cup of steaming coffee or soup you blow on it and take a sip first to make sure it's not going to burn your mouth? Just chug that **** and deal with the results...is what TG would say because after so many errors that occur everytime something is altered on the site, this is what happens.

Slow down, TG!!! All the updates and changes aren't necessary. How about getting your bread and butter working first? Like the leaderboard errors, and updating rules and adding tracks to existing tracks that the previous TG admins just didn't add for whatever reasons. This is just me though.

This is not the first we have posted to TG about follow best practices.

    One post was done here by me;

    https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/178426-Twin-Galaxy-Jace-Hall,-Franny-Please-Fix-the-Error-Posting-the-file-to-http://www:twingalaxies.com/newattachment.php?-CKEditor=vB_Editor_001_editor&CKEditorFuncNum=2&la-ngCode=en-response-status:406?p=927878#post927878

More posts from GibGirl was posted previously from her as well (sorry I could not find your previous posts on this).

This also do show the TG search functionality is not clever enough to show correct post in context.

Look to me TG is not learning.

The whole forum thing was dropped; Now do we dig up previous post on a topic.

I did search for "testing" / "best practices" none show our previous posts on this.

This show now lots of information stay hidden with the wall system.

    Regards

    Fdt

    Very good point.

The following link is useful for searching through posts in the retired forums:

    Advanced Search for Forum Posts

Is there a similar feature designed for wall entries? If not, there should be; otherwise, those discussion threads tend to fall into an abyss after a few weeks of inactivity.

    Edited to add

While I'm at it, please change the default format such that pressing the [Enter] key produces a new line with single spacing (instead of double).

    Hey Andrew,

    Thank you for the suggestion.

I was hoping for more of an "in house" solution, but I'm sure you already knew that.

    Hey Francois,

My previous comment (see above) may be of interest to you.

The Advanced Search feature allows blog comments to be searched by user name and/or keyword(s):
