It's just practice. :) I started with trying to resurrect the family's dead phones. The old "doesn't charge" symptom usually indicates a broken component. The USB leads were first to be understood: there's pins on the cable end which should be proud. Then came cleaning out the charging socket in the phone. Then changing the PCB in the phone. Along comes changing the battery. Each generation seems to have more sealed parts than the last, so the tool set grows.

This is the second attempt at changing a screen on one of these phones - failed at the last one. The screen was replaced but nothing turned on after wards. I think that loose cable that was stuck to the back of the old screen might have been the problem with that first attempt & I missed it then... The wife's working phone has a cracked screen (same model). So, I know I've got another one to do & that will use the screen from the first attempt. Can only find out one way. £30 for a new screen is far better than the £150+ for a replacement phone.. and I get to keep the saved games (Android is notoriously bad at migrating saved games across phones).

    Just practice & patience. :)

Ti imrpove a bit on the adjudication..How do we know if the "PCB" and the "Screen" was for an original phone..

Is the screen and PCB for an original or a "clone"?

Only original "hardware" alllowed for "android games....
